The Taproom by Hellbent Brewing

We really enjoy Hellbent when we go to Pybus market. However, we went there for our anniversary on New Year’s Eve, my husband ordered a 10 ounce margarita and it came in a rock glass! With of course, lots of ice, and so the amount of liquid in the glass was literally 8 ounces or less. I told the waitress it was not a 10 ounce glass, as we are whiskey drinkers at home and use rock glasses all the time. They insisted that it was a 10 ounce. It was beautifully done in presentation, and tasted great for about three sips. So my major complaint on this, is that, if you are going to advertise something as 10 ounces then you should give your customer a 10 ounce drink. If it’s only gonna be 5 ounces or less than it should also say so, I do not like dishonesty.I would never order another cocktail there, but I do like their beer! Their meatball sub sandwich is amazing.

Sevice is friendly, timely and attentive. Our hostess, Chloe was very kind, personable and helpful with local information and suggestions. Our waitress, Haley provided impeccable service, always being there when we needed.
The food is delicious. I recommend the Zanol style wings and meatballs.
Old Pirates Barrel Aged Barley Wine and the All Spruced Up Winter Ale are great.

Beer was good. Flies were thick. Drink somewhere else and enjoy your evening without fighting the flies.

Meatball subs is absolutely delicious! The bread was toasted on the outside but soft and warm on the inside. The sauce had a little bit of spice to it but it wasn't overwhelming. My dad ordered a sangria and it came clear with a couple slices of lemon. They must use a white wine and I took a taste, it was very tasty.

Excellent tasting berry mojito, however, probably the ugliest lime I have ever had at a restaurant.

Just wow - the food was incredible. Every single thing in the rice bowl was cooked to perfection. Only issue was service - when we first walked up the waitress said she'd be right with us. After standing there for 10 minutes another waitress said its open seating. I think we got checked on one time after ordering? But will 100% be back for the food

The location is awesome! Great space located in an open market.
The food was normal. I had the spinach artichoke dip, and it was normal.
I also had the Chop Cheese. Tons and tons of meat. Super tender and great amount of onions. It was cooked perfectly. I would have liked more liquid. Got it to go, and received 5 slices of pickle on the side. Less chips and more liquid or pickles please.

The New York Chopped Cheese is amazing, great beers. Absolutely loved the selection. Our server was great, she was super attentive and wonderfully warm and friendly. Definitely looking forward to the next trip over the Cascades to visit again.

I got the New York Chopped Cheese Sandwich. Really really good. Ground buffalo with melted cheese and pickles. Outstanding!

We had wings and potato nachos. Both were fresh and tasty. The potato nachos are served with thin potato chips, not potato wedges I anticipate but they were great either way.

Had a party of 7. Service was good except a last minute addition of chicken nuggets for a child. I think they had to go buy some chicken. It took way too long. And, oddly, they only allow one refill per beverage. Probably pass on the place next time.
