Waffles in Yakima, WA

“Stopped here on the way back from the Tri-cities to Seattle. Typical diner with excellent food and excellent service. These are the types of places we prefer over fast food chains when traveling - and this one did not disappoint and in fact, exceeded all our expectations with the fantastic friendly and quick service and the super tasty food. Will definitely return. Note: B&G shows up all over the menu and this American couldn't figure out what it was: biscuits and gravy (of course!).“

“I was completely shocked a couple weeks ago when my husband and I went to breakfast at waffle Café on 72nd. We stopped going for a long time because the atmosphere was horrible. It was dirty. The food changed, it was bland, greasy and had gone downhill. This time it was absolutely amazing, the restaurant was much cleaner, the food was much better and the atmosphere was a lot more welcoming. A few days ago I went to get a gift card for a family member who use to eat there but stopped because of the lack of sanitary and food. While getting the gift card I asked the gal if there was a new owner, she said no, and I told her that we were , very surprised how welcoming and clean and how much better the food has been. I asked if they had a management change and she said yes that she was the new manager. I told her thank you for the job that she’s done making the café more welcoming again. Its nice to see that somebody cares about the cleanliness and the food in their establishment. We will be going back.“
