Waffles in Yakima, WA

“Food was delicious everyone in our party enjoyed our melas and ate until we were stuffed. The service was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu options. It was a restaurant packed, so you can tell it is a local favorite. The only downside, as they were so busy they didn't have time to appropriately clean between patrons, under the table had lots of food and some silver & napkins. When the owner came to our table to help with orders he noticed the dirty floor and he did his best to do a quick cleanup. In the end because the food was so good and the staff were so great we would love to go back when we are in town again.“

“I was completely shocked a couple weeks ago when my husband and I went to breakfast at waffle Café on 72nd. We stopped going for a long time because the atmosphere was horrible. It was dirty. The food changed, it was bland, greasy and had gone downhill. This time it was absolutely amazing, the restaurant was much cleaner, the food was much better and the atmosphere was a lot more welcoming. A few days ago I went to get a gift card for a family member who use to eat there but stopped because of the lack of sanitary and food. While getting the gift card I asked the gal if there was a new owner, she said no, and I told her that we were , very surprised how welcoming and clean and how much better the food has been. I asked if they had a management change and she said yes that she was the new manager. I told her thank you for the job that she’s done making the café more welcoming again. Its nice to see that somebody cares about the cleanliness and the food in their establishment. We will be going back.“
