“Our experience there was not at all like I expected it to be with as many repeat customers that were there. I’d like to start out by saying that this was our first visit there. The “regulars” that we met were phenomenal! Kindest people we’ve met in a while! They raved about the meatloaf as it was an obvious choice for a lot of the customers there. Wish we would’ve ordered it. I believe I counted 9 plates of the meatloaf being served. Clearly a hit which is great! The restaurant was nice and clean. But the service today by our waitress was one of the worst I’ve experienced! I get it that the world we live in now days is nothing like it was 30- 40 years ago but I still expect good customer service. The 3 other customers we walked in with (who we were not with us) were offered water and drinks after the sat down while were never offered water or drinks. We were given a place mat, our silverware and the menus and we were almost immediately asked for our order. I had to ask for the water otherwise I don’t believe we would’ve gotten any. My order was given to me missing a few things and the young waitress completely dismissed it and us which had me having to ask the other waitress for it. Not sure if we rubbed our waitress the wrong way and she didn’t care for us but she made us feel unwanted and very uncomfortable. It’s unfortunate cause what we ordered to eat wasn’t bad. The “senior and or military discount” (not looking for a free meal here) was never offered to us which apparently is a staple there. We give the service by our waitress almost a 1 ⭐️. Please do better!”

“Stopped by during a bike ride on the Tomorrow River Trail. The bakery was delicious and reasonably priced. Clean bathroom. Water available for riders, Highly recommend.”

“My pizza was brought to the table burnt. Send it back to the kitchen for a different one. Got to sit and watch everybody eat, why I waited for my pizza to come. When I got my replacement Pizza, the young waitress didn't even say we're sorry for the mishap. Surface could have been better she should have never brought that pizza to the table. What did the kitchen say see if they would eat it? Disappointed”

“First of all the sign outside reads The Pines. But when you get inside it's Las Flores. Maybe one side is one restaurant and the other side is another. Very confusing. The service was good and our wait person was friendly and efficient. The food was just ok. The refried beans were tasteless. This was probably a one and done for our group.”
