“Delicious, homemade food just like Mom used to make! Everything is made from scratch, the quality and flavor are always consistent, the daily specials are great, and the staff is so friendly. The pies are the best ever and remind me of my grandmother’s homemade baking. Their slogan, “Pies to Die For,” says it all!
I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves great home-cooked food and amazing pies. You won’t be disappointed!”

“Worth driving from Wittenberg for great beer! We make an afternoon of sampling a few beers playing a few hands of cards. Grabbing a few favorite brews to go. Afterwards we catch a meal at Ambrosia restaurant.”

“A nice quaint little bar in the middle of nowhere. Friendly staff and great food. Located just outside of Iola. If you’re in the area I’d recommend stopping in for lunch. Popular stop for the locals but doesn’t get too busy. Plenty of seating and there’s a pool table. No dart board. Prices are great. Ordered a cheese pizza, cheeseburger, onion rings, chicken tenders basket with potato wedges, a big fish sandwich with chips a bunch or beers and soda. Fed 4 of us and the bill was $80. Would recommend and would come back.”

“This was a nice option for Mexican food in Waupaca, Wisconsin. Service was good. The food and drinks were good, but not the best Mexican. I'm a little bit of a Mexican food snob, so if I could give 4.5 stars I could, but didn't think the food was quite to a 5 star level. I would definitely go back here next time I'm in Waupaca though.”

“Great food. Not enough people working there when you're done eating and want to leave you stand at the register for at least 10 minutes all the girls are standing behind the counter talking. Don't go there hungry you have to wait at least a half an hour to be served but the food is excellent ?”

“Stopped in for the Friday night fish fry, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the fried perch, and my husband had the broiled cod with the white wine butter sauce. Both meals were outstanding. The fish was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily one of the best fish fries we've had in quite a while.

The service was excellent as well. The restaurant was packed, so we grabbed seats at the bar. Even though the bartender was incredibly busy, he was attentive, friendly, and always seemed to know when our drinks needed refilling.

We'll definitely be back! If you're in the area on a Friday night, this fish fry is absolutely worth the stop. You won't be disappointed.”
