“Interesting all-crepe homemade high quality ingredient menu with Scandinavian sauces and condiments. Cozy meeting room and conversation nooks, nice collection of Nordic books, winter wear, gifts. Great coffee and drinks!”
“Great atmosphere, staff is always nice and courteous. Pizza is always as described on menu. Very good!Kid-friendliness: They have games to play while you wait, which we took advantage of!”
“Awesome place. The staff were kind and welcoming as soon as you walk through the door! They have an nice variety food and drinks. The London fog is excellent and the hot cocoa is a MUST. Very friendly atmosphere and quality food. The house made sauces especially the honey mustard were literally so yummy??? 10/10 would ”
“The food and service are great at far Gretchen's. They have awesome breakfast dishes and great pies and cakes as well. I've eaten here many times and have never been disappointed.”
“They have Gluten Free bread!!! Made me soooo happy! And great grilled cheese sandwich. I spent 2 hours working in this lovely place and left with a terrific coffee for the road.”
“Cozy place with local foods and bakery items. Stop in if you are looking for interesting high quality options not widely available in this area. We were happy to find this awesome place and amazing cafe swarm next door”
“Love the service, the manager is very friendly, always there working, they re crispy crust pizza is definitely my favorite, I always stop when passing by waupaca.”
“I love going to O'Brien's, live music outside, good crowd, plenty of room, the music volume is at a good level which allowed us to have a conversation. Bartenders are efficent, they put customers first. Wayne”
“Their food is superb! Their dining area is nice, and the staff is very nice and helpful! Not to mention the take home Lasagna! I didn't know Lasagna could taste not only good, but THIS GOOD!”
“Came for the pie...just as good as I remembered from 32 years ago! Had the breakfast omelet special and a couple pieces of pie. Service with a smile, great small town vibe. Room for groups in the addition! An added bonus, we noticed 3 generations of family working here on Saturday. That says it all!”
“My husband and I have made it a little tradition of our to go to Wheel House. Their pizza and wings sauce is AMAZING! You can buy their sauce by the mason jar full as well.I had their baked fish last time too and it was so good. The booths above the bar make it a cozy experience.”
“HUGE single scoop of you get two flavors for just $5Got the cookies and cream which is my favorite and caramel pecan as well. Suggest getting a bowl as it melts quickly (which means it's made fresh)Make sure to get the sugar cone!”
“Favorite Chinese place in the area. Their portions are big and the food is always tasty!Their lunch specials are a great deal, but even for dinner, the amount of food you get very reasonable for the money.Thier lo mein is my favorite!Parking: There are two entrances to this parking lot. The lot itself is long and runs across the front of the restaurant with more parking on the side. The lot has plenty of non-parking space to move around freely.”
“I really like their beers! And the Hinder-rita ain't bad either! I typically don't like much that local breweries have to offer, but, I have to say that Hinder knocks it out of the park. It's one of the few places that I can do a flight of beer and enjoy them all. They also offer appetizers and frozen pizzas, all very good. No proper lunch or dinner though. Worth a visit every time that we are in the area.”
“The Rose Garden is definitely worth a visit no matter what time of day.I have now visited for Breakfast and Lunch. Everything "I" have ordered has been great. Combine that with the incredibly friendly service and relaxed atmosphere, and you've got something golden.I have tried the Chicken Fried Steak w/ gravy for breakfast and it beats the Truck Stop handedly. Frankly it wasn't even a competition.I have tried their burgers and fries for lunch and again, worth every penny. All in all if you aren't stopping into Rose Garden at least once every couple weeks you ain't livin right lol.”
“Love the Brewery on any given day but what a spectacular location for a private event! The staff are so friendly and communication is stellar. We had well over 65 people come by throughout the night. The space was perfect and so many options to configure the room. Everybody kept commenting on what a perfect location and atmosphere it provided! Thank you for making our event so special!”
“It's like stepping back in time and going to the drive in with friends to hang out and have some delicious food. The Hut will always be, hands down, the best drive in. Food is delicious and one of a kind and the service it excellent. They strive for greatness. I will be going there on my lunch today. :)”
“Love this place! Goat ? yoga in the summer, wine tasting, local wines and beer with specialty fun drinks weekly. They have an n/a drink list and fun events all the time.”
“The food was all delicious!! Cornbread was amazing!! Love the Hot Honey sauce. The ribs, brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken were great. We will be eating here again.”
“Very friendly staff, I believe the owner was doing it all by herself. Had chicken bacon ranch wrap and it was VERY good. Seemed like pretty friendly patrons also. Lots of tvs for watching sports. Dart board, pool table, pull tab machine, yes took some money from me.”
“Had a wonderful experience. Went for the fish fry. Be prepared to wait if you don't get there early, it is a bit small with limited seating. It was definitely worth the wait. I had the haddock which was delicious along with the baby reds. Our waitress Erin was busting her tail the entire time yet found time to be personable with us. Hat's off to this young lady who looked like a pole position driver negotiating the traffic cones as some of the customers decided it would be ok to place chairs on the ends of table plugging up the isles. The drinks were typical Wisco small bar drinks, plenty of booze and not watered down with soda or ice. All in all great experience. We will be back.”
“Wow. We went in for fish, and we got it. It was a busy Friday evening and the kitchen was backed up, so we waited a while. But when it arrived, everything was piping hot, perfectly cooked, and delicious. I had broiled haddock, which was excellent like everything. The baked potato was great. Salads beforehand were very good as well. I failed to get our server’s name, but she was great. Highly recommended!”
“The original small-town Wisconsin bar.. pictures on the wall of softball teams from the 70s and 80s. Much more affordable beer than the micro breweries. With a lot more character and retro style :-)”
“My family has been going to Simpson's for decades, and to my knowledge, no one has ever had a bad meal. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Yeah, their menu is a little pricy, but for the second year in a row, Simpson's has made my mother's birthday dinner a memorable one!”
“Great food, notable atmosphere and relatable small town vibe. Best food in the area undoubtedly. Nice place to sit, relax and sip on some coffee and have a hot breakfast away from the cold.”
“Great out of the way place. Best Friday fish fry I've found in the state. And pizza that is out of sight. Along with great prices. Can not be beat. Go hungry.”
“First time eating here. They've really poured heart and soul into the building. Vintage Danes Hall restored to it's glory. Food was good and well portioned. We ate the entire meal including dessert and weren't hungry or over full after. A little pricy for what we got, that's why it's 4 not 5 stars. But it was the special Valentine's Day menu, so maybe that had something to do with the price. I think it's going to be a good replacement for TW Martins Public House that Waupaca lost after the pandemic. Similar but different enough to be it's own thing. We'll be going back to sample more of their regular menu. Maybe a Friday fish night? They have crab cakes...”
“I can’t say enough positive comments about this venue, the staff, and in particular, Sal the chef. We rented the restaurant on a Sat night to host a family special event, with 20 in attendance. The food and wine were outstanding!! Sal’s food blew away our guests, all of whom were very familiar with fine dining in much bigger cities. Thank you Green Fountain Inn for making a perfect evening and memory for our family!”
“Miracle find. The speciality pizza (both barbeque and ranch) is amazing! The best pizza I've ever had. The crust is baked to perfection; it's crunchy and the slice doesn't sag like at many other restaurants), the topings are plenty and delicious. Great service and friendly atmosphere!Thank you for your service!”
“Had breakfast here. There was a variety of quiches to choose from, biscuits and gravy and a bunch of pastries. The quiches were very tasty, so were the bisquits and gravy. The coffee was good too!”
