The coffee is also decent, though we usually go for the smoothies.The downside is this place is expensive. A waffle and smoothie is costing me $20. So it's a treat place, not a regular spot for us.”

“Came for the pie...just as good as I remembered from 32 years ago! Had the breakfast omelet special and a couple pieces of pie. Service with a smile, great small town vibe. Room for groups in the addition! An added bonus, we noticed 3 generations of family working here on Saturday. That says it all!”

“The Rose Garden is definitely worth a visit no matter what time of day.I have now visited for Breakfast and Lunch. Everything "I" have ordered has been great. Combine that with the incredibly friendly service and relaxed atmosphere, and you've got something golden.I have tried the Chicken Fried Steak w/ gravy for breakfast and it beats the Truck Stop handedly. Frankly it wasn't even a competition.I have tried their burgers and fries for lunch and again, worth every penny.All in all if you aren't stopping into Rose Garden at least once every couple weeks you ain't livin right lol.”

“My husband and I have made it a little tradition of our to go to Wheel House. Their pizza and wings sauce is AMAZING! You can buy their sauce by the mason jar full as well.I had their baked fish last time too and it was so good.The booths above the bar make it a cozy experience.”

“I really like their beers! And the Hinder-rita ain't bad either! I typically don't like much that local breweries have to offer, but, I have to say that Hinder knocks it out of the park. It's one of the few places that I can do a flight of beer and enjoy them all. They also offer appetizers and frozen pizzas, all very good. No proper lunch or dinner though. Worth a visit every time that we are in the area.”

“Had breakfast here. There was a variety of quiches to choose from, biscuits and gravy and a bunch of pastries. The quiches were very tasty, so were the bisquits and gravy. The coffee was good too!”

“Had a wonderful experience. Went for the fish fry. Be prepared to wait if you don't get there early, it is a bit small with limited seating. It was definitely worth the wait. I had the haddock which was delicious along with the baby reds. Our waitress Erin was busting her tail the entire time yet found time to be personable with us. Hat's off to this young lady who looked like a pole position driver negotiating the traffic cones as some of the customers decided it would be ok to place chairs on the ends of table plugging up the isles. The drinks were typical Wisco small bar drinks, plenty of booze and not watered down with soda or ice. All in all great experience. We will be back.”

“First time eating here. They've really poured heart and soul into the building. Vintage Danes Hall restored to it's glory. Food was good and well portioned. We ate the entire meal including dessert and weren't hungry or over full after. A little pricy for what we got, that's why it's 4 not 5 stars. But it was the special Valentine's Day menu, so maybe that had something to do with the price. I think it's going to be a good replacement for TW Martins Public House that Waupaca lost after the pandemic. Similar but different enough to be it's own thing. We'll be going back to sample more of their regular menu. Maybe a Friday fish night? They have crab cakes...”

“If your looking for a good fish fry look no further. We have been traveling around trying different fish Fry's throughout the area and most say this has been the best so far. The beer battered haddock had a lite breading and the flavor was awesome. The portion size is also really good, I ordered the 3 piece and could not finish it all. Everyone complimented how good the food was. We arrived around 5:30pm and was lucky enough to slip right into a table. The bar area is not the biggest so either plan on going early or waiting in the bar area. Overall they did a great job and we will definitely be back.”

The bartenders are really friendly and they’re always open to making new things.For a small town bar they stay pretty current with their available drink options. They had some delicious sugar cookie shots that tasted amazing when I was there the other day. Overall it’s a little dive bar-y but the drinks are cheap and I’ve grown to look forward to coming here when I visit Waupaca.”
