“Island Sushi Appleton is the only place I will go for sushi. They have options for everyone’s tastes and if they don’t, they can help find something you’ll like! The chefs are fantastic; conversational, accommodating & great at recommending rolls or substitutions! They are also great at getting my picky child to try new things always!“

“Went for a birthday on a Monday night. Presentation was fabulous. Chef was skilled. Waitress polite. Only one menu for four though. Felt rushed and unwelcome despite no waiting patrons. If I'm dropping over $200 on dinner, I don't want to feel like I have to leave right away.
Parking: Be prepared to walk a ways during weekends. Lots of patrons. Weeknights are less crowded.“

“I had never been to Akame Sushi but went with my sister and brother in law. The experience was great! If you don’t want raw sushi, like me, there is plenty to choose from. I can’t wait to go again. You make your choices off an iPad that has pictures to help you choose. DELICIOUS 😋“

“The food here is always on point 💯 So happy they added PHO to the menu! That’s always our go-to dish including the crystal shrimp. My kiddos loved it and gave it INFINITY out of 1 😆 they said the food was FANTASTIC! This is also the only place in Appleton closed a little later on a Sunday that has pho on their menu as well. All other pho places are closed by 7pm.“
