While there is room for improvement in service, the selection of beer is typically enjoyable. IPAs are a popular choice, and visitors can find a variety of beers on tap, including Nut brown, Octoberfest, and a few Pilsners, although availability may vary. The lightly smoked beer has also received positive mentions. The food offerings, such as the cod fish fry and Beer Cheese soup, are very good, with items like burgers, wraps, steak, and lake Superior white fish also available. Some menu items, like the Pilsner, can only be found at the restaurant. The bartenders have been described as welcoming and knowledgeable, providing an overall pleasant experience.
