“After my 16 hour shift in the coal mines, I am understandably starving. I go on google maps and find this restaurant then I proceeded to find roaches in my mater soup and I saw the cook spit in my food and rub it on the trash can. Service was fluffing abysmal“

“Food has always been really good and diverse from other offerings in town! It’s such a beautiful space. Service started off rocky first few visits but seems to have improved a lot since we’ve been in more recently. Went in for breakfast & catching up on some emails one day and they said they don’t have free WiFi/won’t give out the network password. Seemed a little odd but I was able to use my hotspot instead. Something to consider- it would be nice to offer that to people wanting to do work lunches, etc there for the future. I hope they continue to grow and succeed as they do have good food!“

“We visited last night, which was a pretty busy Friday night. Your bartenders were by far working their tails off! They were on top of everything and so friendly. Our food was top notch (recommend the steak sandwich and corn nuggets!) and came out fairly quick for how busy they were. That kitchen staff was on point! Thanks for the great night!“

“My review is based on how 5 J's is a community-minded business. I am the student council advisor at a nearby high school, and this place helps us raise funds to improve our school by donating the cans that come from the patrons who go to their establishment to our aluminum recycling project. They don't have to do this, but in talking with the owner, she very much wants to support the school and students rather than making a few bucks. If you ask me, that is pretty amazing, especially in this economy. We can't thank them enough for their generosity! So if you are looking for a friendly place to relax that supports students they are near, this is the place!“
