I'm from Los Angeles, so these small town gems are always a treat, and a hoot. Beautiful tavern decor,, good food, the bartender can pour a Guinness. And cooks the bar food! That was a first for this city kid. If you haven't, come visit
We stop in for drinks here once in a while. It's a friendly place where the bartender is also the cook and sometimes you can even find the owner behind the bar. They provide bags of popcorn, the way bars used to have bowls of snacks on the bar years ago. The menu is short, but what's on it must be pretty tasty because they cook a lot of it. We'll definitely be back, hopefully for a meal soon.
