“Stopped in from out of town. The Barred Owl is a very cool place with a great ambiance. The staff was nice and cordial, made me feel welcomed. They had two chefs doing a "pop-up" food service that evening as well. It was impressive. I highly recommend this establishment.”

“Nice brewery in northern Wisconsin. It is right downtown with great outdoor seating. They have nice pizza and a few other snacks. It has a modern vibe with some music and TVs. For beer they had 13 of their beers on for my stop. Kolsch, jalapeno sweet corn cream, green tea shandy, DIPA, Hazy IPA, IPA, Stout, 2 sours, pale ale, boysenberry blonde, amber, Bueno nitro beer(it's a stout), and 3 seltzers. All the beers were better than I expected and that nitro stout was smooth. This is a place I will stop again when I am in the area.”

“The first time, won't be my last! Soup and sandwich special on Friday was on point and just what I was looking for. I didn't even get a chance to look over the menu that I have heard so much about. The soup was fantastic, and although i wish the sandwich had one more piece of fish on it, it was very good also. Looking forward to my next visit.”

“Wow, just wow! This place is GREAT. Jackie is a delight and I wish I could have boxed her up to come home with me. She cooks, bartends, serves, and makes you feel right at home. Hospitality at its best! The food is fresh and amazing. My mom had the hash brown option and it was out of this world. She hand shreds the potatoes for the hash browns and I can't imagine a better hash brown. Dressing are home made for the salad bar. SOOO GOOD”

The staff are friendly, attentive, and even accommodated us when our original group of 5 for dinner swelled to 9 and we had to pause our food order for half an hour while the rest arrived.Food was hot and fresh, and so good! I had the garlic chicken parmesan with fries... Whatever that garlic Parm sauce is, it is punchy and delicious!Love coming here, especially when we are out riding our ATVs. Always friendly, fast service and tasty drinks and food.”

Regardless who's working, the staff are very helpful and knock my sandwich out the park time and time again. Not to mention the fountain vitamin water is ultra refreshing.
