“Food is very good, I know that several food ingredients are sourced from a local organic food buying club. This is converted from an old residence, so it can get loud when crowded (and it does get crowded sometimes, but service s still pretty good, but visually very nice. Nice selection of ice creams in the front case.“

“Spacious eating area, might get a little loud when full but it was fine for us. We were there for a Friday Fish Fry and the refills were slower than I would expect for the level of busy. Fish was flakey and good but was a pre-battered filet versus hand-dipped. All-in-all, a good time was had by all!“

“We love this place! It's a perfect hybrid of casual or classy dining, and everything that we've tried on the menu has always been delicious. Comfy seating, fast service, and healthy + delicious food make this an easy choice for regular visits. MUST-TRY FAVORITES: grilled brussels and bacon, ahi tuna, smoke stack burger, fish tacos, pan-fried walleye, and sweet potato fries. I regularly get the brussels as an appetizer and the ahi tuna [appetizer] as my meal.MENU UPDATE: They recently added birria tacos, which have roasted shredded beef and light-spicy, au jus-like sauce for dipping. (As of Feb 24, 2024, the website menu hasn't been updated yet.)The parking lot is very large. If parking spots only remain on the far left (west) edge row, don't worry, that means there's still a few tables open in main dining and lots open in the overflow space. If the left edge row is full, then the inside is pretty busy. Management does a fabulous job with balancing staffing because even if it's very busy, we've always been promptly seated and served. Accessibility is friendly for disabled or injured folks with flat surfaces all on the main level. If you come on a Friday or Saturday, I recommend a reservation, but it's not required. There are technically 4 seating areas -- bar (with TVs), main dining (fireplace and golf course views), overflow dining (cooler temps), and the seasonal outdoor patio. The bar and main dining area both have booths and tables with cushioned chairs. (The "cushioned" chair aspect is important for me since I have back issues.) The bar atmosphere is open and naturally louder. You can request a *tall* booth in the main dining area if you want more privacy.Service has always been very friendly and prompt. (Special shout out to the server Talon, who just last night ran my forgotten purse all the way out to me in the parking lot. Thank you!)The menu has diverse options from dry-rub chicken wings and burgers to pastas and chicken/steak/fish entrees. There are multiple options for gluten-free, keto, or vegetarian diners. They also have a wide selection of wine and drinks. There is a kids menu, but I don't think of this as a typical place to bring young kids. If your kids are hard to wrangle or like moving around while dining out, a table in the overflow dining space could work out.If you're unsure about Stella's, just go! You won't be disappointed.“

“Stopped in for Monday night bingo and it was a good time for everyone in our group. We had French fries, California burgers, and signature burgers (burgers were on special) along with loaded nachos. The service was just right too. We will definitely be back for bingo and burgers, maybe even a pizza next time. Was a nice experience.Parking: There is parking out front of the building on both sides of the street and there is also a decent sized lot out back for overflow parking all of which is close to an entrance.“

“You can tell there is a lot of history within the walls of this restaurant and it was packed with locals so that's always a good sign to me. Our waitress was prompt with taking our order, and following up with us later for refills, etc. My husband went with the chicken taco salad and I had the log jammer plate. The shell on the taco salad was nice and crisp and the meat had great seasoning and was moist. My log jammer sandwich was the best prime rib sandwich I had in quite some time, both in the meat being tender & flavorful, as well as the fact that they weren't stingy with the prime rib. The french fries on the side were crisped to perfection.“

“Cute cafe. I had dinner here before and it was not my favorite, but the breakfast today was really good. Something that bothered me today was that one of the staff, a male cashier, purposely photo bombed multiple photos, that another (very nice female busser) was taking of my partner and I. It was unprofessional. Thankfully the girl taking the photos continued to take multiple shots and by the last couple photos, he had left.“

“Just like the previous owner's: Same big burgers etc, and they will pull in bands that you would only expect to find at a much larger venue in the Twin Cities. Last act I saw, the singer had just recently been featured on national network.“

“Had breakfast on Saturday. They open at 9am, and when we got there at 9:20 the place was packed. Friendly folks. The cook looked all of 18 we braced ourselves for ‘just ok’ food. We could not have been more wrong. His hash browns were crispier and more delicious than most twenty year cooks. The skillet breakfast was ample and amazing. Ate til full and still leftovers for the next day.Just one of those incredible hole-in-the-wall places. Totally worth the drive.“

“So I am not one to like takeout, it just never tastes the same vs being sitting in a restaurant… Lemme tell you! This was fantastic!! It was warm, cooked just right, and tasted excellent. You could definitely save some $ and split a burger with someone, they’re huge!! I had never been here before, I’m glad I stopped by.“

“Had lunch after our trip on the train. We were with a large group of friends. We were able to call ahead and told them we had a large group and they were able to accommodate us when we got there. The food was fabulous. Had the classic hamburger and it was very good! My husband had the Ruben and he said it was small but very good. Will most definitely come back again.“

“I really enjoyed their wings and the server was friendly and on top of it our first visit, second visit sat at bat and was busier, bartender told us she was “out of it”. Not a big fan of the business as it usually is but the food is great.“

“At 1030a and there was no one here... the fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee from local Northwood Roasterie was just the tip of the iceberg. The food was surprisingly fresh hot and delicious. We shared the French Toast, which has a cinnamon butter to with, that just made it extra delicious.I had the breakfast taco with chorizo and American potatoes...the potatoes were so fresh hot, I had to wait to eat it. You could taste the freshness in the pico de gallo.Pork ends hash, had pork belly, cooked to perfect softness and texture, not chewy or hard.10 out of 10, would definitely come back for breakfast. Next, I hope to come back for lunch and dinner!“

“Stopped by for dinner on a Sunday and managed to eek out a table amongst the families from a hockey tournament - we're talking busy, and kids everywhere. Our server was upbeat and friendly and she managed to keep our drinks refilled despite the constant activity around us. We tried a pub house and a friar melt sandwich, one of with fries the other with the standard chips. Both were very good, but I'm not sure I'd pay extra for fries again, they were mostly small cuts and ends and more crunchy than nice and 'fry like' if that's a thing.Overall, the prices were fair, multiple staff interacted with us and made us feel welcome, and we heartily recommend this local pub!“
“I work here and it's the best golf course in Minnesota in my opinion the course is very easy to follow the staff is exceptional, it's really clean, and the atmosphere is amazin. I recommend it to anyone who wants to become a member because it's a private course.“

“? **Hidden Gem Alert: The Grillium!** ?I stumbled upon The Grillium during a weekend getaway, and it exceeded my expectations. Here's why I think you should give it a try:1. **Eclectic Menu**: The Grillium's menu is a delightful mix of comfort food and unexpected twists. From the **lobster mac and cheese** (a must-try!) to the **poutine**, each dish has its own flair.2. **Charming Ambiance**: The outdoor patio, though close to the main road, offers a cozy setting. The hustle and bustle add character, and the string lights create a magical vibe.3. **Service Notes**: While the service was friendly, it could be more attentive during peak hours. But hey, good food is worth a little wait, right?4. **Local Flavor**: The Grillium feels like a community spot. You'll see families, friends, and even solo diners enjoying their meals. It's a slice of Forest Lake life.**Pro Tip**: Pair your meal with a craft beer or one of their creative cocktails!---Remember, everyone's experience varies, but I hope you enjoy your visit to The Grillium! ??Parking: Parking lots usually pretty full I've only been there at night but I've never had a problem finding a spot.Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair accessibility and Van handicap spots.“
“Went there for the fish fry. We do fish fry's all over the twin cities during lent and I was very impressed with these guys!
