“It was a Monday night 1/2 price burger baskets, They had pool table leagues going on and only the bartender and cook was working so the bartender was extremely busy but she did the best she could. The girlfriend and myself both got burger baskets and they were excellent.“
“Had lunch after our trip on the train. We were with a large group of friends. We were able to call ahead and told them we had a large group and they were able to accommodate us when we got there. The food was fabulous. Had the classic hamburger and it was very good! My husband had the Ruben and he said it was small but very good. Will most definitely come back again.“
“This bar was really nice a calm space that is nothing like your average greasybar cute little small town bar but better the food was really good not that greasy at all bar the food was really good service was really good good energy everywhere a little wait but definitely worth it and a good place to bring your family very welcoming really enjoyed -anonymous“
“If you ever get stuck in the city of Osceola during their annual parade, try a pit stop at Tippy Canoes! Haha, we weren't planning to go here, but had a great time anyway. Food was great, the Vikings football game was on a big screen inside the bar area, and I really enjoyed the beautiful outdoor patio. The service was a bit slow, but I think they only had one waitress for the entire outdoor area. Honestly, she may have had to wait on tables inside too. But, we weren't in a hurry to get anywhere that day so we just tried to enjoy the sunshine.“
“My husband and I are huge fans of Tangled up in Blue! We love the small intimate atmosphere. The food is amazing, The chef really knows how to cook and you wont be disapointed. This is a family owned and operated small restaurant, so the staff always knows who we are, and its nice to catch up when we stop in.“
“Stopped in for Monday night bingo and it was a good time for everyone in our group. We had French fries, California burgers, and signature burgers (burgers were on special) along with loaded nachos. The service was just right too. We will definitely be back for bingo and burgers, maybe even a pizza next time. Was a nice experience.Parking: There is parking out front of the building on both sides of the street and there is also a decent sized lot out back for overflow parking all of which is close to an entrance.“
“Headed to the Brookside bar and Grill with my sister and my brother-in-law. It is warm and cozy inside this pub. Beer was delicious with many choices, the food was also very good, and our server was Rosie, who was one of the owners. The atmosphere was very warm with two TVs above the bar, and a very large outdoor area that is open during the summer with live music. It was great conversation between the three of us as we ate our early dinner and enjoyed our beers. There is definitely a plan to come back during the summer months and enjoy the outdoor music and the large patio and back. If you're ever visiting along the St. Croix river between Minnesota and Wisconsin, I suggested you visit this beautiful bar and grill and enjoy a good meal. Say 'Hi' to Rosie for me!“
“Food is very good, I know that several food ingredients are sourced from a local organic food buying club. This is converted from an old residence, so it can get loud when crowded (and it does get crowded sometimes, but service s still pretty good, but visually very nice. Nice selection of ice creams in the front case.“
“Just like the previous owner's: Same big burgers etc, and they will pull in bands that you would only expect to find at a much larger venue in the Twin Cities. Last act I saw, the singer had just recently been featured on national network.“
“This is a litteral hole in the wall... but the old school bar decor and atmosphere is still inviting...Sorry forgot to take pics but burgers and wings were juicy and delish...only had one guy manning the bar, dining room and cooking...but he was on top of everything... friendly service awesome food and the drinks never ran dry! Sorry... forgot your name but you are FABULOUS dude!“
“Had breakfast on Saturday. They open at 9am, and when we got there at 9:20 the place was packed. Friendly folks. The cook looked all of 18 we braced ourselves for ‘just ok’ food. We could not have been more wrong. His hash browns were crispier and more delicious than most twenty year cooks. The skillet breakfast was ample and amazing. Ate til full and still leftovers for the next day.Just one of those incredible hole-in-the-wall places. Totally worth the drive.“
“We took the kids for pizza and ice cream before our hike. The kids shared a slice, a slice is a 1/4 of a pizza. I had a slice and my husband had the Chicago dog. We all enjoyed our lunch. They also have a good selection of different ice cream/sherbet. The decorations are fun to look at and there's coin operated machines for little kids. We try to eat here every time we're in the area.“
“At 1030a and there was no one here... the fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee from local Northwood Roasterie was just the tip of the iceberg. The food was surprisingly fresh hot and delicious. We shared the French Toast, which has a cinnamon butter to with, that just made it extra delicious.I had the breakfast taco with chorizo and American potatoes...the potatoes were so fresh hot, I had to wait to eat it. You could taste the freshness in the pico de gallo.Pork ends hash, had pork belly, cooked to perfect softness and texture, not chewy or hard.10 out of 10, would definitely come back for breakfast. Next, I hope to come back for lunch and dinner!“
“Five star!!! The experience!!! Alicia and Adam are amazing at the bar! Total duo vibe taking care of every customer. The drinks made with passion. The food so delish. Fish fry yummy and beautiful! Timely runners for the food. Popovers and handmade butter unbelievable. The music absolutely LOVE their personal playlist. So FAB!!!“
“Came in today for breakfast, by far one of the best bar breakfasts I've had in a long time! Ordered a chorizo omelette, hands down the best chorizo I've had in years very comparative to the stuff I ust to get while working down in Texas at the Mexican markets. Bartender was amazing! Wife's bloody and omelette were on point too!“
“Spacious eating area, might get a little loud when full but it was fine for us. We were there for a Friday Fish Fry and the refills were slower than I would expect for the level of busy. Fish was flakey and good but was a pre-battered filet versus hand-dipped. All-in-all, a good time was had by all!“
“Great Service from the Bar Staff! They are full service at the bar and the food is AMAZING! Best Cheese Curds outside a Wisconsin fair ground food stand! If you dip them in their signature Whiskey Glaze... Yum!Kid-friendliness: Kids eat free! off the kids menu.“
“Cute cafe. I had dinner here before and it was not my favorite, but the breakfast today was really good. Something that bothered me today was that one of the staff, a male cashier, purposely photo bombed multiple photos, that another (very nice female busser) was taking of my partner and I. It was unprofessional. Thankfully the girl taking the photos continued to take multiple shots and by the last couple photos, he had left.“
