“We visited this location during a Friday night dinner rush on 7/19. It was quite busy and the staff was busting their backs to keep up. Although it was so busy it was hard for them to keep up (I’ve def seen way more staff in busy locations like this one so maybe something to consider) they all seemed to keep a smile on their face and were very polite. The variety of pizza was lacking due to so many customer orders on the bar. I think pizza ranch needs to address their special orders policy during such busy hours (maybe limit it if possible). Anyways overall good experience!“

“This was my second time staying at the Kalahari. I have to admit that both experiences were quite different and that I am very pleased to give them 5 stars this time.

Unlike in the past, some things changed for the better. Checking in was very different, faster, more efficient, and stress free! No long lines, hardly any crowds, and staff were helpful so the process went smoothly. Well done!

Once you go to one of the self check-in machines you should be prepared with either your ID, reservation number or passport. The machine will ask you if you would like to add a credit card to your wristband so you don’t have to be carrying your wallet during your stay. I found this very useful.

My room was located at the “new” hotel right across the convention center. I thought my room was so much nicer than the last time. Newer, modern, comfortable, and cleaner.

My room was very well equipped with fridge, microwave, ironing board, hair dryer, and lots of tempting snacks for purchase. The S’mores popcorn was too good to resist.

I liked that they changed the soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner presentation to a more sustainable alternative.

Also, I liked the fact that I didn’t have to physically check out from the hotel. I only left the room and that was it.

***Things to improve***
The way to the convention center was so confusing to me and I opted for stepping out of the hotel and just cross the street since it was faster. I got lost twice just trying to get to the convention center because signing was not as clear as I thought they would be.

From one hotel the skywalk is on the second floor, but you have to go from the third floor to the second floor because the two hotels are connected but have different floors due to the hill location. Or something like that.“

“What a great place! i ordered the jalapeño bacon burger and asked for no bacon It was so delicious! Bun was delicious too! I also got their cucumbers and hummus 😋me and my 6yo ate it up! 🤣 our waitress was great too very fast and patient with us all“

“After spending the day in the waterparks at the wilderness, our family was hungry and tired. We decided we would order delivery from Moosejaw. We had a big order (family of 5), they told us our estimated time was 45 minutes to an hour. Our food was here within 25 minutes....25 minutes!! We were surprised at how quickly the food showed up. We sat down, unpacked everything and the food was still warm, fries still crisp and the burgers tasted wonderful! Definitely recommend! Thanks Moosejaw for the speedy delivery to our exhausted, hungry family!“
