The service was very poor. Manager was nowhere to be seen. poor service means poor management which falls on the owner.
We love Tavern 109 from the wonderful varied menu to the unique ambience to the super attentive staff. It's our place for special celebrations. Shout out to our server Katie. She was awesome.!
We are from Jackson and visited Tavern 109 today. The food was amazing and Gloria, our waitress, also amazing!!! We will definitely go back and this will become a regular place for us to eat. My husband had a club sandwich, I had their Dijon salmon and my son had the fish and chips. We also had the pretzel bread sticks and my son had the salted caramel apple crumble. All of it was so good and each of us thought it was the best food we’ve had in a very long time. We would highly recommend anyone to try this amazing place!!!
I made the mistake of ordering fish and chips. It was the worst fish I've ever had; mushy texture, no flavor; didn't even taste like fish. After two bites I asked our waitress to take it away. She just shrugged her shoulders!?! I won't be back.
First time there and I’ll be back!!
This is NOT Walnut Street Tavern. It is Bump's. Took back original name.
Nice small bar, friendly bartenders and good specials.

Always great service! Have always gone here for a nice cold beer.
Everything is ok... Just a hole in the wall bar... Leave the clubbing at the door.
