Our group of four chose to eat at the bar as none of us were getting the soup & salad bar with our meals. The service was great and we really enjoyed the food. Wednesday in Wisconsin means chicken wings, and three of us went with the traditional wings and we all agreed that they had wonderful flavor and were cooked just right; the french fries that came with the meal were nice and crispy. The food has a lovely midwestern feel and taste. The fish, walleye, was perfectly cooked and served in a cute basket. Yes, don't hate me, I did get it fried, I had a hankering. The tarter was fresh and homemade. The salad was crunchy and fresh as it should be.

It's nice they have the bar area looking so nice now. It's a lot nicer to eat in the bar area. The original dining area is pretty outdated with simple tables and chairs. We went on a Friday, and they had a fish and chicken buffet. You have to wear the restaurant style gloves and the food goes pretty fast.
