I ate at this iconic restaurant and had their fried whitefish livers appetizer and broiled whitefish dinner main course. Homemade mashed potatoes (choice of potatoes) and coleslaw comes with it. Both were delicious! You cannot find breaded and fried whitefish livers anyplace else and they are amazing with a little squeeze of lemon. Came to this place while on a trip and had very high hopes. I had ordered a chicken parm but was given the trout salad instead. Normally i wouldve stayed quiet but i am quite allergic so i told my waitress i had ordered the chicken parm. My husband and I stayed at the INN in the Cowboy room. The room was cute with a private toilet but shared showers. The owner was great and communicated well. We were right next to the main door and only heard the door opening and closing on occasion. We really don’t hear any of the other guests. The location is perfect.
