Was very excited to have Chili John's chili hoping it was just like the Chili John's recipe that used to be in Green Bay. The extremely friendly waiter said it was better. It was not! It was very runny and tasted like watered down Hormel. The hand cut fries which he also recommended were hard & lacked seasoning. We are from out of town and love a good small town food spot. The staff are really kind. The price is really affordable and amazing. We didn’t know it was cash only and they were very understanding and kind about it letting me run to get cash. We will definitely be back next time we are town.
I was pleasantly surprised when I visited Chili John's Cafe. This is a family-run and staffed establishment with great personalities that make the atmosphere very enjoyable. The well seasoned grill and the chef/owner make the food taste fantastic. Liquor is available if you want a drink with your meal. Seating is available at the counter or tables.If you're in the area, stop in for a visit. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
