“We stopped here on our way from Dubuque to La Crosse, and it did not disappoint! The bartender/owner was very friendly and welcoming, and the other local patrons there helped with our great experience. The food also exceeded expectations - the prime rib was cooked perfectly, and the coconut shrimp hit the spot. We will definitely be making this a pit stop anytime we’re in the area. “J&Js is a high volume restaurant. We went on Friday evening and it was buffet only with no table service so you go to the bar to get your drinks, communication of this would have been helpful. 17.95 includes a very basic salad bar and soft serve ice cream. Seafood buffet was very good and kept full and included fried cod, catfish, clam strips & fries. There is also broiled cod, cut potatoes and canned corn & beans. Not quite the experience I was hoping for but got the job done.”

The specials are creative. Do not miss this place! The Waygu bacon burger with drunk mushrooms, carmelized onions and blue cheese drizzle is out of this world! You choose a side....I personally love the sweet potato fries. There are so many good things to eat here.”

“Nice little bar! Love the wood interior. It looks so great! The food is amazingly priced! Couldn't believe it only cost $11 to eat lunch here. I was so happy! There's no parking. So you have to park in the street, but that isn't their fault. It's the way the street was designed and lain.”
