Chester's Chicken is okay, but not what I was hoping it would be. The name harkens to the legacy of previous years, but now it's basically a fast food place that focuses more on ethnic Mexican food than on its namesake, chicken. I had the chicken tenders and potato wedges, which were so-so, but the deep fried corn-on-the-cob was a pleasant surprise.
I really do love this place, my only real issue is that the staff that has taken my orders has literally no enthusiasm. I get it... I'd rather not be inside a restaurant on a beautiful day, but I want to feel like a restaurant wants my business. Not like they wish i want there so they could keep playing with their phones. That being said I've always been totally satisfied with my food. A couple of times they didn't quite have something I wanted and happily offered...
Chester’s fish fry is filling and reasonably priced. There are three eat in tables and stools by the windows.The place is clean but lacks a bathroom as it is attached to a gas station where you are directed.
