Real food. Real bread. Easy to digest. The cookies (especially the gingerbread), cherry scones, croissants, brioche and hot cereal mix are all treat. A successful, tried and true, home delivery offering allows those in the delivery area year round access to the rotating menu.
Very elegant and accessible restaurant. They offer big meals and for reasonable prices. We enjoyed the food very much and the staff members were super welcoming and explanatory. Highly recommended.

To say that this place is off the beaten trail is an understatement, but Jeff has some of the best baked goods around. You can't buy on site anymore so the only places that I know of to get his stuff is 1855 Coffee House in Mazomanie and the farmers market on the square in Madison. The morning buns and muffins are top notch!
