The wait staff is superior: friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere is warm, subdued and quiet in the low table room, so no shouting to hear one another, even when they're crowded. It's absolutely perfect for a romantic couple's night out. Last night's meal was Gumbo with jumbo blackened shrimp (fabulous!!) and one of the weekly dessert specials, a delicious cranberry pavlova. The chef here is as good, or better, than any in the region, including LaCrosse. \nI highly recommend this gem of a restaurant !!”

“I found Cowboy David’s at the Wed Plan event in Madison in January. They brought samples of the ginger carrot cake cupcakes which were delicious! I had another baker lined up but needed a backup quote in case a few things fell through. My wedding is in May and they were quick to return my call and gave me a couple of “what-if” rough estimates. Fortunately my original plans came through but unfortunately that meant I wouldn’t be getting cupcakes through Cowboy David’s. But I would highly recommend them just based on both my in person interaction at the expo and talking with them over the phone. Now I just need to find a reason to order a dozen cupcakes and grab a friend for a weekend road trip! Please consider Cowboy David’s when looking for a delicious way to celebrate”

“If you're looking for just a quiet place to rest. It's not bad. But it is outdated and not really any amenities. Convenient store is the check in desk and have to call in by 730 pm for a room.”

“I've had complaints with this location in the past, but today they got it right. They were well staffed, took care with how they made my sub, and were friendly and polite. I took it to go, and when I got home, it still looked like a sandwich. Seriously better than the haphazard sloppy way they were put together.”
