“Unexpectedly great.
Picked the plane randomly when deciding where we wanted to go for a Friday fish fry that we hadn't tried before and ended up here in the basement of an American legion.
The drinks were strong, the food was ready very fast and very good, like surprisingly good! The server was on point. It is in a bar so keep that in mind.“

“Bartenders are friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere. If your a Wisconsin fan you'll love DJ's. Packers, Bucks, Brewers and Badgers it's all there. They also have a couple of party rooms. Food is good from appetizers, burgers and pizza.“

“We stopped by Sunday afternoon to have lunch after dress shopping. It was myself, my 5 yr old, my mom, my Mother-in-law, 2 sisters, and my cousin. The service was friendly and fast and the food was absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised in the variety of food offered and how it was different than most “bar and grill” food. I would definitely eat here again!👏🏻👍🏻it’s like a fancy Unos/Applebees inside a dive bar vibe😃“

“We stopped in last night for the first time, after driving by your place 6-10 Xs a week for the last several years. Not sure why it took us so long, probably because we already had several "favorite" fish fries. But yours just jumped to the top of the list. And yes, if you can't decide, go for the combo . . . that's what I did and it exceeded my expectations. We will be back!“

“Sawmill is one of my all time favorite places to come after church. The food is always amazing, the holiday decor is wonderful and is always a great experience, until today... Unfortunately, the waitress "T" was absolutely awful, she was rude and should really find a new profession not dealing with people. I would hope it was just a bad day for her, but she ruined our experience. We have never left a $0 tip and that should tell management that she needs a chat. Still great food and atmosphere. We'll be back, but will not ever have her again! God Bless Oh and a different waitress had a packer shirt that says "I love it when he goes deep". I'm not a prude, but seriously so inappropriate for a restaurant to allow that!“

“I went to visit my cousin who recently move to the area from CA. I live in Arizona and researched bars in the area. This was rated high so I went. All I can say is that this place is awesome! Great environment, people were way cool and drink are excellent in price! Great job everyone! Can't wait to go back!“

“It was our first time at your restaurant; I brought my two children who are wheelchair users, and my twelve year old. The hostess didn't bat an eyelash: just got is to an appropriate table, which is something that is rare. The server was helpful and kind. The food is delicious: love the broasted chicken and Cole slaw. My daughter's burger was nicely done. The onion rings were perfect, and the root beer was refreshing. Thank you for a lovely dinner in Pewaukee on the 4th! We will come again.“

“I recently hosted my 50th birthday party at The Thirsty Duck, and it was absolutely fabulous! We had to change venues at the very last minute due to flooding in the area. This was actually our third venue and all of it was happening while we were out of the country. What could have been a nightmare turned into a dream thanks to the amazing and professional team at The Thirsty Duck.

The private room was perfect for our group, and the food was incredible. The nacho bar was an absolute hit with our guests! The bartender and server who worked with us were outstanding, super attentive, kind, and kept everything running smoothly. I heard so many compliments from our guests throughout the night. We also loved having access to the outside patio, which was a perfect addition to the space.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful and professional the staff was to work with. They truly went above and beyond to make my milestone birthday celebration one to remember. Highly recommend The Thirsty Duck for any special event!“
