Was a little unsure walking in. Had that sketchy hole-in-the-wall vibe mixed with dining room decor. But the food was incredible — fresh, flavorful, and prepared very professionally. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area. 5 stars.
Have been coming to Conover for 35 years, and never stopped in while it was Wild Turkey Smokehouse. When I saw they rebranded themselves as a steakhouse and advertised as “the best steakhouse in Conover”, I couldn’t help but try it (fyi they are the only steakhouse in Conover). Went in with low expectations, but honestly everything was really solid. Pizza was great, the wings were incredible. One person in our party got the baked haddock, another a steak, everyone loved...
5 stars so my experience will be noticed- TERRIBLE bartender service. I mean just awful. Took our drink order, gave us our drinks 20 minutes later… told him we were ready to order, he cleans his cups instead..
