While out for a ride to Hooks Cheese in Mineral Pt. to pick up some of there wonderful 20 year cheddar we decided to head down to Darlington so my companion could check out the Bargain Nook and we could have lunch. We stopped in for lunch on a Friday recently off the recommendation of a local business owner. We started off with an order of cheese curds and they were delicious. The serving size was perfect for our group of 4. Three of us had the fish nuggets and fries with coleslaw and it was excellent! Our fourth member had the cheddar cheese burger and loved it. Legends indeed! Came in for a quick lunch break and they were able to hook up a perfect cheeseburger for $6.50 in about 5 min. This is a perfect stop for lunch if you are working in the trades!
