“It was really busy when I visited, my friends said it's not normally that busy. They only had one bartender and other than food being less available, she was keeping up amazingly well! We did get a pizza from her, but she just couldn't do burgers, understandably!“

In this case, baked cod with a side of cheesy potatoes was very good.I ordered a cup of clam chowder to be served before my meal, but the service tonight was so fast that my soup and dinner were served nearly simultaneously!!I especially liked the warm melted butter served with this meal, like it should be.The atmosphere is perhaps a "traditional" WI locale, but the dining area is small, so you'll have to wither sit at the bar or on the bar area ?. It's not exactly a drawback if you grew up in WI as that is part of the culture.If you didn't grow up here, you may object to the bar if you have children.“
“I would call this an upscale dive bar. Essentially a traditional bar environment with amazing food. Limited menu but delicious. Nothing fancy about the atmosphere and every staff member was super. Definitely stop in your way through. If we were local we'd probably be regulars.“
“Coming in at 8pm on Friday was the perfect time. Appetizers are around 6$ each (x3). dinners less than 15$ each (x2). And 4 cans of beer the bill wasn't even 60$. I'm impressed and would gladly come back. The fish fry was excellent, shrimp was excellent. And the coleslaw paired well to the fish! “THE BEST fish fry I have ever had!The fish is superb. Three of five of us had a more than ample serving of the walleye, baked potato & cole slaw & all agreed it was great. The Friday night atmosphere is CROWDED, busy & the cacophony such that conversation is impossible. The prices are reasonable. The bartender is aloof, difficult to flag down & challenged by a simple register transaction. The cook is non-stop busy with all of the orders. The server is very cordial under the high-pressure atmosphere, so kudos to her! Overall, pretty good experience & the fish - to die for!FISH: *recommended! *Parking: Few spots in the lot.“

“Ate there while my Sportage was being serviced. Great lunch place. Went back on 11/11 with my better half. It was crazy b/c they do a Badger game day bus. We had 4 cheese grilled cheese w/ fries and a Pooleys beef and cheese sandwich. Both excellent. No leftovers, no pics.“

“Probably the best buffalo wings you can get in the mid west. This is not a large establishment, you might have to eat at the bar or take your food to go but trust me coming here for an order of their original wings is worth it. They the original wings down with a dry rub of their making and then douse them in their home made buffalo sauce so I hope you are okay with a messy meal. This is also a legitimate dive bar, and take orders at the bar so do not expect some fancy table service. “My girlfriend and I went to get some food at Wahlburgers and ordering was fast. No line. I had my food surprisingly fast but she had to wait for quite a while. Turns out it was a mix up in the kitchen. It really wasn't a big issue but they comped her meal and upgraded it for free. The cook came out and apologized for the mistake. The food was very good and worth the wait. I told them it was no big deal and we will be coming back for sure !!Parking: They have a good size parking lot. Taking care their regulars came first and that's understandable. It was comfortable place to socialize. I was alone I ordered bake cod with wedge fries and Cole slaw. Was not disappointed at all. Food came out hot and worth the cooking time.The baked cod was a better size than most places anymore and very well seasoned. Cole slaw seemed homemade and well blended. “I was expecting mediocre hotel restaurant food, but was pretty impressed. I had the smothered chicken and it was a huge portion and was delicious! Their tomato soup and cheese curds are pretty good as well. Great beer selection and friendly bar tenders too... Would definitely eat here again!“
“Was a nice and quiet place. Some arcade, pool and other games to have fun enjoying good drinks and beers. I didn’t try food so I can’t say anything about that, it was a quick visit having some beers and playing pool. Something is little hard to find is the main door, they should fix that for providing a better way to find the place.“
“This was my first time ordering and eating this food because I wanted to try Catfish. This was great experience on the phone a gentlemen name Kyle I believe. I may have got the name wrong but he was professional, polite and detailed. He was new but made sure my order was received and a ETA when the order was finished prior to getting off the phone. When I arrived I was Pleasantly greeted by a Pretty Lady and the Gentlemen that I talked on the phone. I waited only a few minutes and the order was hot off the grill. I was pleasantly surprised with the food and will come back. I was a little disappointed that I didn't get my Kings Hawaiian roll but the main entre with the Mash & Gravy made me forget about it. “Went at midnight to celebrate (like a daughter) turning 21. Had a blast!!! Bartender was nice, talked to the owner & he was nice & the other customers were nice. 90% of them came right over to us & bought us drinks & shots & wished her a Happy Birthday & hung around & talked with us. Nice neighborhood bar with pool tables, dart boards & a great jukebox. They also serve food. Did not try it but the menu looked good. They have a good size bar & plenty of tables & parking. Owner may put in a outdoor patio in the future I learned when we were chatting. We will visit again. ?“
