I went and tried this place out because a friend of mine recommended it to me, when I went in this nice girl with green hair greeted me, she was very sweet and helpful with the menu, I got the grill cheese and chicken wild rice soup, that soup has to be the best soup I’ve ever had. I had a great conversation with the girl working, hoping to run into her when I go back. Great place for food 10/10
Always wonderful comfort food in a cozy atmosphere. A staple in the Eau Claire area. Delicious eggs Benedict for breakfast and excellent sandwiches (had the pesto pizza sandwich this visit)
Seating can be difficult when they are busy, but food is always amazing!
I've probably been to Grand Ave Cafe 100+ times and there have been maybe 2-3 times where I was a bit disappointed.
The most recent time (two weekends ago,) was one of those times...
We had a group of 8 people, all of which were split up into tables of two, and our drinks took 30 minutes to arrive at our table and food took another 30 minutes to arrive at our table after that....
