Oh, wow! This place! With it being UWEC graduation weekend and since we were staying out near the highway instead of at a downtown favorite, we thought we’d look for good food away from downtown too. First you stroll into a simple yet warm and elegant space, where there is lots of smiling. Then your eye catches the cute chalkboard at the far end of the bar announcing today’s drink special is “Cranberry Mimosas” so you’re instantly smiling like everyone else. The menu and food is stunningly good. Obviously the ingredients are top shelf. The bathroom is worth the trip just for the artwork alone. Extremely slow service with not alot of customers. Food was ok. Lasagna sheets were very thick and tough. Shrimp were very salty. Potatoes that were with steak were dry and flavorless.
