Wonderful breakfast spot! Delicious breakfast sandwiches and fresh-baked muffins. Friendly and welcoming staff. Went three times while in Elkhart Lake and looking forward to when we return!
A converted train depot run by people with a sense of humor - and knowing that service with a smile wins friends. Lots of good cold and warm sandwich choices, sides, deserts and speciality drinks (coffee, tea, smoothies). Seating is limited (and I imagine very difficult in the summer resort season, but you can grab and go), but these people actually greet and talk with you when taking you money, acting like they appreciate customers. Reasonable prices and serving sizes.
While performing temporary work in Wisconsin we decided to explore a little during our time off. Visiting different small towns we have met some of the most wonderful, welcoming and polite people. Young and the not so young, simply wonderful people. The town of Elkhart was no exception. Visited this small restaurant and to our surprise it was magnificent.
