“Stopped in on a lazy Sunday drive through southwest WI for a beer. Friendly staff and customers, good prices... cool display case behind the bar with taxidermy and Brewers memorabilia. Good place!”
“Got their pizza ? and it was fantablous.Comparable to the pizzas ? we get in Chicago.I'm here on a fishing ? trip with my cousin and I'm telling him how fantablous their pizza ? is only ti find out their closed on Sunday of all days to be close on Football Sunday. ???. Will try them next year.”
“Madden’s Irish Pub is hands down a true gem in Elroy! The atmosphere and great vibes from the owners made my wife and I feel welcomed and right at home, especially their stories about the history of their building to that of the surrounding area. Great selection of regional and Irish beers to choose from, along with everything from basic drinks to specialty cocktails. And I must say their Reuben sandwich was scrumptious and will for sure lure me back for more, along with the special secret sauce for dipping fries and chips—yum! A nice game room compliments the pub. We will for sure be stopping back in every time we pass through town. I highly recommend Madden’s to locals and travelers alike. Thanks for the hospitality!”
“I didnt know what to expect when visiting this little small town bar. The locals at small town bars aren't always the most welcoming to an outsider. That wasn't the case here. The bartender was very friendly and chatty and the locals that were there were all very welcoming and friendly.”
“What a lovely, fantastic place! Service was top notch and our food was absolutely delicious! We look forward to coming back again! What a jewel to have such a place in our local community!”
“I have zero complaints regarding this company. Their staff is loving and calls people by their first name. Their food is healthy hand made and articulated with love and you can taste it. Same for their coffee and sweet treats. Their taste in music is pretty exceptional when your itching to find an artist with amazing talent they have done a great job supplying a grand array.Vegetarian options: One of the best spot to locate a vegetable only meal.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free is a popular option and she has it allParking: On occasion you may struggle to be right by the door but there is never a hard time getting right close to the buildingKid-friendliness: There are tons of things for children to grab but this establishment has a great table and couch area for children to enjoy hot chocolate and treats while playing with the toy cars that are placed around the buildingWheelchair accessibility: Their side door is accessible for wheelchairs and the inside allows for up to table seating making it very convenient for someone bringing their wheels inside for coffee and food or to hear music”
“First time here...admittedly I'm not a bar person since I don't drink. Wife wanted to try Tuesdays and we were pleasantly surprised. Place wes exceptionally clean, not loud, and folks were very pleasant. Restrooms were excellent. Guess my view of "bars" is tainted by many of the dives I've been to in the past! Tuesdays was really a kind of restaurant with a bar, rather than a bar with a restaurant!, if that makes sense!! On weekends they serve breakfast and we are always looking for a new place!”
“I'm not much of a bar person but damn, that food is good. The garlic fried cheese curds are worth the trip and that's just a side, the burgers are next level.”
“First time visit: Amazing food! Drove out from Portage to go to Wildcat Mtn State Park and stopped for lunch. We split the Maduro Con Queso appetizer, Chanko Con Yuca entree, and Pio V dessert. Highly recommended!”
“What an awesome place. Dont worry that its almost all locals, they wont bite unless you ask them to. If you love wisconsin sports and you wont bite someone unless they ask you to then make sure you go there. Be sure you just fit right in before you even order and tell John or Kelly that Luke said "hi", since one of those lovers of being Wisconsin is probabaly working there right now because you duds wont tip well enough for them to actually be at the game since you love that there watching it with you on T.V. instead. God bless Wisconsin and Sports.Amen.”
“Can’t beat this place! Kelly makes magical drinks that no one in the greater Clifton/Kendall area can compare to. If your cruisin for a green dinosaur look no further. Best believe I will be there ever single time I’m around that way!”
“Staff is very accommodating. Food is always delicious. I love that the kitchen is open till 10 pm. Highly recommend trying the Tyler Special Burger or the Ribeye Steak ”
“It's a nice place. They need more employees. They were really swamped when we came in, but the service was friendly and accommodating, the food was good. The wait time was a bit long, but again, they need at least one more front end employee for the amount of people that were there. One person cannot handle the amount of traffic coming through.”
“Well few years ago, est 15 or so, I use to occasionally be attached to WisANG at Volk Vield.I would always arrange my schedule to drive from Pittsburgh, PA, on Wednesday 685 miles, just to eat their steak dinner specials.”
“My family and I were in town for a wedding and wanted something quick and healthy. Not only were we able to have our needs meet, but Kevin (one of the owners) was a great host while expertly preparing each drink. I would highly recommend!”
“Cozy fun place. The bartender was extremely friendly, funny and engaged with the patrons. It was our first time there, we found it by accident. Everything happens for a reason. We'll definitely go back again ??”
“Stop by for beer and a snack after hiking at Wildcat Mtn State Park. Great beers: tried eight different types (two flights). Good food: Rueben pizza (half). Highly recommended!”
“Had a great meal on Friday evening. They have a really good salad bar and the best chicken dumpling soup I have had in years! Dumplings like my mom used to make. They had a buffet which a lot of people were having but my husband and I had the seafoid trio, some if the best skewered shrimp I have ever had! Some new staff seemed to be starting that very evening but such a warm, family feel to this place! Definitely plan to go again. They also had an amazing selection for breakfast with good pricing. Only drawback are the bathrooms, limited privacy with the odd "folding" type doors for the two stalls, but that was only downside I found there. Highly recommend their food and friendly staff!”
“Night bartender was very rude and only cared for her friends. Our group or 8 had to always wait for drinks. Only bad experience I had there so far because of the female bartender with attitude..”
“What a GREAT place to stop in at! The owners are absolutely wonderful and it's so friendly there....not to mention seeing Honey! Definitely my favorite stop when I'm in town....not to mention Dave makes a killer brandy old fashioned!!”
“Prompt & courteous service from the male bartender, who had to run the bar & wait tables. Steak was a little tough, but mashed potatoes & potato soup was homemade & good. Salad bar was ok.”
“We've been here for lunch before and the first thing I have to compliment is the woman behind the bar, she bartended, waited the tables and I believe cooked the food too, she did it quickly and friendly, a real pro. The chicken dinners were huge and delicious and as reasonably priced as you could ask for, this place is a real diamond in the rough”
“It's all very good for a small town subway. I know others would enjoy it more if there was a limit to about 3 sandwiches pretty order. The individuals who don't know about online ordering need to get educated on it.”
“Service was great, food was amazing definitely worth stopping in to try. They do have stairs in front & back so a little challenging on crutches but would go again. My husband had BLT & he ate every bite. He is pretty picky too. My burger had onion rings, cheese, bacon, tomato, lettuce. I could hardly get my mouth around it to eat. Stop in New Lisbon”
“I’m from the south east. Military sent us to Colorado for 10 years and it was awful not finding good Chinese. Lots of options, but lack of flavor. I gave this place a shot based off the reviews and was not disappointed! Great food, made fresh to order. Service was fast, prices are fair and finally flavor! Our go to is the general tsao’s chicken and orange chicken, wontons/rangoons, lo mein and fried and steamed white rice. We’ve had it a few times and it’s always been great!Parking: It’s attached to a McDonald’s and gas station that semi trucks can park at. Tons of parking available and semi friendly.”
“Beezers is this sort of middle ground between a supper club and a country bar... I dig it. Bourbon old fashioneds were good. The walleye cheeks scrumptious, and the tips delicious. The salad bar with two soups... well you don't see this very often and it's definitely a big plus to dining at Beezers. Casual honest small town joint.”
“I've ate here several times and is my favorite when I'm visiting a friend. Prime rib buffet Saturday nights is inexpensive and very good.i love the hamburgers. They make them fresh and are huge. Cooked to perfection and tomatoes, lettuce and onion are fresh. French fries are very good also. They offer a salad bar that has all fresh ingredients. I've had breakfast their in the past and never disappointed. . It is located next to a campground. I highly recommend this place. Say hi to Bill when you stop in. Great place, great food and great people.”
“Every time I have eaten or have ordered take out at Elroy Eatery, the food and service is incredible. The portions are larger than I've experienced at previous restaurants. I recommend this establishment to those looking for a fantastic meal at a reasonable price. They truly believe in quality!!!!”
