Welcker's Lounge is a unique dining experience that combines history with modern charm. The restaurant serves a range of dishes, including perfectly cooked scallops, braised beef short ribs, and a delicious stirfry. The atmosphere is welcoming and beautiful, with a "speak easy" vibe, a great veranda, and live piano music. The food is often outstanding, with a large piece of walleye and the scallops being a highlight. The duck and vegetarian stir fry are also highly recommended, as is the house made carrot cake. The cocktails are fun and better, and the service is always outstanding, friendly, and very attentive. The friendly, family business atmosphere and its close proximity to everything else make it a great place to bring family along.
