I got a full rack of ribs (I took half home for another day). My opinion is that if ribs are actually good, they don't need sauce. These fit that standard. Very good. I like a bit more smoke flavor, but know that can vary quite a bit even with a consistent smoking "plan". Sides were excellent and pretty large portions. I would return the next time I'm in the area.
Pretty good BBQ for a small Midwest town. Actually, pretty decent BBQ even without the disclaimer. Fort 88 does some things very well. A few others, not so much. First, the good: Great atmosphere. Spacious, cozy, and inviting. The brisket is a standout; it's tender, smoky, and meaty. The pulled pork is also a cut above average.
