“5 stars is not enough. Seriously one of the best places I've ever eaten.My husband and I got quite a lot of food because everything sounded delicious! We shared the Irish potato soup and Dingle Bay Dip. Both were so good we almost licked the dishes clean. I had the Shannon plate which was amazing and my husband had the Steak and Bacon pie which he said was fantastic.Even the drinks were awesome! The bloody Mary was perfect (I'm very picky with my Bloody Marys). A little kick without being too spicy. My husband had the Great Golden Lager. I'm not a beer person at all, my husband usually gets my chaser for my Bloody's, but wow was it good! I almost got a glass myself it was so good.The staff were just absolutely phenomenal. It was a quiet night and we were the only ones in there so the staff would come over and make conversation with us. They are easy to talk to and very down to earth. As soon as you walk in you can feel the love and passion they've put into everything about this place. It almost feels like going to someone's place to have a great home-cooked meal and connect with the people around you.They even had trivia cards at the table which we loved because we talked and laughed with each other instead of being on our phones.Back to the food though because I can't explain how delicious it is. The Irish Potato soup. Best. Thing. Ever. I almost went back to ask if they would fill a thermos with soup. I'm so sad I don't live closer because I would survive on food from here for the rest of my life.“

“It was a Girls day and my Daughter suggested we come here to eat and have some delicious cocktails. This was all of our first time and we had an Amazing experience! “Zazas is my favorite place to come in for Wing Wednesday!! We come in every week with a group of friends and always have a good time. Emma is my favorite server except doesn’t always come in on Wednesday’s:( Also, Sammy makes the best Coors light pitchers in the Midwest no cap!!“

“I visited Winona to go to an indoor skateboard park but it was closed and I was hungry. I ran across Sammy‘s Pizza and restaurant. I felt at home the moment I walked in. I ordered the lunch buffet. I was given a drink, and told to return to the counter, if I would like a refill. I sat down and went to the buffet and I was there for pizza, but they had a little bit of everything, a salad, some chili and even dessert. I had a couple slices of pizza. I had roasted chicken I had a bowl of chili and I had their apple and blueberry pizza dessert concoction. Pleased with everything. I read a note that they had in each table that they have 1/3 the staff they’ve had since Covid. It made me even respect them more because they’re Mom and Pop small business trying to make his meet. I think they have done an awesome job with the way they have emanated the place. I think it’s OK not to have servers and for us to serve ourselves. I will be returning to this place, and I will tell others to come here too. I drive from La Crosse Wisconsin. I would drive here just to eat. I would give them 10 stars if I could. The quality of food and ingredients was much better than I’ve ever anticipated. I want to thank you for your service, and I left with a smile. I could not hardly fit another bite in my mouth. Because I was so stuffed I could not leave without having another bite. I haven’t had to go get another refill to wash down everything I had eaten, and to take another look at where I was and remember. This place and environment made me feel like I was at home. This is not a normal feeling for me lately because I have actually been homeless the last three years. I would proudly spend my money here again in the future I hope to be able to return again soon. “I went here for the first time with my son-in-law to enjoy a couple of cups of coffee and a raspberry pastry. I must say the coffee was great, the service was great and that raspberry pastry was DELICIOUS! A second cup/refill was only a buck, and some change.
