“We enjoy the pizza from here and order it regularly, but one thing I do not love is their crust. It's not like any other crust I've ever had on any pizza ever, and I wish it was more of a traditional thin or ny style crust. I also don't remember the crust being like this when we used to order from the Rosati's in the Madison area. The crust is kind of soft and when it comes it always seems undercooked both in color (white) and texture, even though I don't think it is, it's just their style. Putting it in the air fryer and cooking it longer always improves it. So, if you're reading this, I hope you'll consider a crust tweak in the future.“

“I grabbed a hot cheeseburger and fries and an olde tyme pink lemonade on New years Day. The staff was friendly and quick to help me. My food was made fresh, ready to go within 8 minutes and less than $14 for a combo meal. Absolutely delicious, and I'll be back to try the fish soon.“

“Love love love their boneless wings. Lightly breaded and good amount of sauce. Always ask what the specail sauce is, they arent listed on the menu. Very well priced for the food and quality. Fun atmosphere with plenty of Bar space and/or longer high top tables to accomodate a group of adults comfortably. My fav sauce is the greek freak (bufflo/feta). Anytime we are in the area its a must stop for us.“

“I’ve been ordering from Chicken Man/Gianelli’s for over 30 years. My parents got it when I was a kid and I have been ordering since for my family! Great food for a reasonable price, which is not easy to find as much! But definitely great food and service!“

I love this place and I know that their service is good but our order must've fell through the cracks this time... my order should've been about $85 but the manager brought it down to $42... “If you want a very good meal. This is the place. The owner hand makes everything from the sauces to dressing to all the food, and there cheese cakes is out of this world. They do offer outside seating or indoors. Prices are very reasonable. And again the food will surprise you.Very good!“

“Really great wings cool place: got stuck in a hotel here when a huge snow storm shut the city down. Ended up talking to the owners brother for a bit.They have a real passion for their food. I would highly recommend trying their wings, the mustard based hot sauces were really good. But I was surprised that their Cap’n Crunch wings were my favourite. If I’m back in the city I’ll make sure to stop by again.“

“under new management - chicken aren't as good as they used to be... but still good.- fried whole wings - deliciously golden, not too salty. They are whole wings, in 3 sections, which is nice if you like the wing tip area like I do.- potato wedges - these are more expensive than regular fries, but there's no Merrit in paying the extra. Regular fries are pretty good, and the wedges are subpar.Oh, and don't get lost. They are located right on the corner of Teutonia and Good Hope, inside the gas station. “Ordered a pepperoni & sausage $15 + One topping pepperoni at PROMO price $9 total $28 & the pizza was really good. I picked my order up much later than the time that i ordered it and even though the pizza was sitting awhile before i picked it up it tasted very good once i ate it at home & the customer service at pick up was amazing over the phone & in person in spite of my late arrival. My family & i will definitely be returning. “Best JJ from the Midwest to the PNW. That old man knows what he is doing. Straight fire and consistent. Food has been ready when he says it will be.Visted here dozens of times. I get the catfish dinner, fried hard with lemon pepper. Large portions of good-looking catfish filets. Light and crispy on the outside. Soft, flaky, and moist on the inside. Perfect every time. Never burnt, never hard.It is hot and steamy. If food is kept in the container too long, the batter may get more soft than desired. Needs to be eaten soon as it is ready.Had a small issue one time. I added on two sides, fried corn and cabbage which came to $25.The corn wasn’t fried, basic can corn with no seasoning.Everything this else was great and it was a good amount of food. “I’ve tried them 5 times now. The wings are okay. The loaded baked potato with grilled shrimp extra cheese sauce is my favorite!!! Fried pickles are good too. Nachos hit as well! “I stopped here after lunch to check the place out after driving past it for many years. Unfortunately it has the street under construction in front of it so you have to park in the surrounding neighborhood to get there at the moment. It's your typical West Allis dive bar that looks aged with a pool table, flat screens etc. They have daily specials and a small hot food menu. The owner survived the C19 shut down only to endure the front street shut down which kills his business because I was the only person in the place, what a back to back shame. Being the only person in the place kills the enjoyment of going out with no one around you to talk to so I had to leave and move on, when the street is fixed and people come back I would like to stop back over.“

“I had stopped patronizing JJ’s because of such bad service-then I happen to stop by the JJ’s on 62nd and Capitol-Upon enter I was created by Lou who was kind, the lobby was clean and the food was great! I had order a catfish dinner and forgot it on the counter. I called the restaurant and was told to come back-I went the next day not realizing the staff made the dinner the day before.sure enough Lou gave me a slight tongue lashing with a smile and prepared me dinner. Service could improve but due to the high density of customers in a relatively low capacity business, one could expect this issue to arise. It looks like there is usually one person working and when someone orders he gets right on it and makes sure it is done quick, he is nice and courteous and professional.
