Their Italian beef is one a person can enjoy time and again. If you love meatball sandwiches? Nice LARGE meatballs- sauce is great and the side of fries? More than enough to satisfy anyone.“

“I got to eat there for the first time last week at 10:45 PM. That's a late dinner, but it was really good. The young ladies at the counter were super nice and bright. Even though it was a late hour, the food was really good. And the service was outstanding.
I highly recommend it if you're looking for it's the really brightly lit place on the westbound side of capital. But I loved it the! I would give them more stars if I could. 🤩“

“03/02/2025 2 pieces of cat fish fried hard. Season very well and taste GREAT. Yam are really good not heavy soaked in juice. Macaroni are good just not creamy like I like but still decent n the potatoe salad was good too. I would give it a 9.5/10“

“Went there last night(August 2nd, 2026) and the lady at the front was very nice.
They were very busy and it took them around 20 mins to get my food but it was definitely worth it.
I ordered the 6 piece mixed chicken combo and every piece was nice and juicy, the batter was well seasoned, and that strawberry shortcake was so moist.

“I heard great things about there “our famous wings” and will say better than expected!!! 🔥 now the garlic fries are cool not worth the hype in my eyes. Definitely should’ve tried the cheese curds! I was in town for training and well worth the 30 minute ride to sit down and enjoy for dinner.

This is my go to location. Parking is kind of hard to find but eventually you’ll find parking. Staff is very friendly“

“I had stopped patronizing JJ’s because of such bad service-then I happen to stop by the JJ’s on 62nd and Capitol-Upon enter I was created by Lou who was kind, the lobby was clean and the food was great! I had order a catfish dinner and forgot it on the counter. I called the restaurant and was told to come back-I went the next day not realizing the staff made the dinner the day before.sure enough Lou gave me a slight tongue lashing with a smile and prepared me dinner. I went today and the same nice smile of Big Lou was there to greet me! Chicken was hot the fries were hotter and the lemonade/strawberry drink was refreshing! You could tell she had a relationship with their customers. Which says a lot. The fish was fresh and fried with a great golden coating. The pieces were a nice size not tiny and shriveled up. ????
