“I have had the amazing privilege to stop in The Mill on multiple occasions on the way "up north" ( I'm from Illinois). Every time I go in there I am greeted like a local and made to feel like they know me. I recently ordered some coffee in a cute little tin and unfortunately along the journey the tin opened and the coffee spilled out. Of course this was no one's fault, accidents happen but in contacting The Mill the owners were amazing and refunded me.... something they did not have to do nor was I expecting. I will continue to brag about and recommend this coffee shop because not only is it adorable with amazing coffee and food (boutique too)but the staff is beyond amazing!!! Thank you and see you in the spring!”

“I took the kids for a fun night out and we were not disappointed! We obviously ordered too much food because we wanted to try so many things and I needed to bring home some leftovers. We got a hand tossed King Deluxe, stuffed crust pepperoni and, my favorite, a thin crust Midwest Sushi. All of the pizzas had plenty of cheese and toppings and were delicious. The ingredients were high quality including the garlic butter dipping sauce and Burmeister sodas. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff was super nice. We will definitely be back. We drove 30 minutes to get here and I think this is the best pizza in the area. Highly recommended.”

“The waitress that I had was a sweetheart. She didn't bother me while eating. I had enough time to just sit back and enjoy watching my nature videos while waiting for my food and eating. Price was actually reasonable and fair. Taste was down home and size of the meal was realistic. As a truck driver, I would suggest the stop in.”

“Nice bar to stop in at, I didn't have any chow here but we did enjoy a few drinks and noticed it seemed to be one of the most busy bars in the area, when the jukebox was playing it can be a bit loud and it was a bit busy but otherwise we enjoyed our drinks and had a good time and would definitely stop again someday”

“Nice people. Quick, too- I was in and out in about an hour including my waiting time. Your route: from hwy 29 take country road F, then turn right to Zackow Rd, at the fork turn right to Grove St, and immediately right again to the Creamery Rd and follow it to the end, docks will be on your right. Turnaround is behind the building, but walk check it first, sometimes it's occupied. Worst case scenario you'll be doing blind side, but it's not too bad. Also, very dog friendly place, there is a big stretch of cut grass in front of the docks, behind the gas storage tank.”

“Update: The manager reached out to me and offered a remake of my order free of charge to address the issue I had. I appreciate the good customer service and them making right on the order.

I always order 50% extra protein and extra veggies. Whenever I order online, they never add the extra protein I pay for or extra veggies. I feel like if I don’t order in person to watch them make my sub, I’m always disappointed and not getting what I paid for.”
