Chicken and Waffles???? Something I would have never ordered- I am so glad I did! I cannot stop craving — great food! A great place to eat!
This is the best place in Hayward. Great food. A bit of an upscale feel. Friendly staff and the owners are awesome!
A great place for food or drink. Great service, great cocktails and fantastic food. The staff was very friendly and clearly care about their customers experience. I will definitely be visiting again.

The Social Kitchen & Cocktails is a great place for food or drink. It offers great cocktails and fantastic food, and the staff is friendly and cares about the customers experience. The menu has a good selection of beers and mixed drinks, appetizers and a limited menu of entrees, making it a good place for a light dinner. Outdoor seating is removed from the street and is quite pleasant, though the evening may have a different character. The menu is original with flavors beyond northwoods bar food, and the owners come around to make sure everything is to liking. Outside area and live music create a great atmosphere with talented local musicians. Service is great, waitresses and the bartender check in regularly, and the manager comes over to see how everything is going. Gnocchi in vodka sauce and shrimp tacos are very good. Cocktails are well above your average drink and the price is not bad for an upscale experience in a tourist town. The place is a favorite in Hayward and a must visit.
