“All I can say is I can not stop thinking about the hand battered catfish and homemade fries! It was seriously the best food I’ve had in a long time! My husband loved his Phillysteak, he said “I think they used Prime Rib”. This was our first time here and wont be the last! Favorite new place that’s been here a long time, for good reason. Great atmosphere, clean and flyless!“

“We were in Galena for the weekend and stopped in for Pizza and wings and both were awesome as well as the service! We stopped in another night and had the tenderloin and steak sandwiches and they were excellent and the service was amazing!“

“One of the best places in the area for great burgers- very worth the short drive from Dubuque. Scott and Cindy are terrific hosts and they regularly have very fun events. Bar-tell has become a regular stop for us!“
