“Food was very good, and being originally from the NY, NJ, PA area, I have had the best. Service a bit slow, but went early so no crowds (Covid aware). Had 3 different fish, and usual Wisconsin sides... but they can keep their potato salad. Rather bland.“
“It is a bar attached to a bowling alley, so if you're looking for a quiet dinner, this generally isnt the place to go. That said, the food is good enough that the bar and restaurant side could function and thrive on its own. The food is really good, and the bartenders are on top of everything. We go a few times a month to eat and have a beer or two and always leave happy.“

“My wife and I moved to the Fond du Lac area about 5 years ago and have been trying different places around the area for their fish fry’s. Although some have been pretty good none have been OMG we have to go back until we found Neighborhood Pub and grill. I had the hand breaded perch and my wife had the baked haddock and they were both delicious. We will definitely be going back!!“

“I brought a Youth Group here, 40 middle and high school-aged children, and we couldn't have had a better experience! Gary was caring and cooperative and the entire staff was wonderful. The pizza was delicious, the lanes were well kept and the entire establishment was super clean. It was easy to book the lanes for our group and we will be back in the future!!“

“A great venue with reasonable prices, good food and solid drinks. With better service, I would have given 4.5 stars (that's right...Yelp can't trust us with half stars). The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path. That works if you are looking for good food; which the restaurant offers. We had a party of six of our table. Everyone agreed the food was very good. I had the Mile High Meatloaf. It was a great portion and was cooked perfectly. I added the salad bar for a minimal charge. It was well stocked with all the standard items and many tasty pasta salads. Several people I was dining with had the Cajun style walleye. They also received hearty portions and said it was really good. I have to tie our bar choices to our experience with our waitress. She was a young girl. She was very nice. Whoever trained her (or didn't train her) is responsible for her shortcomings. The poor girl had no idea about anything served at the bar. People at my table had to go up to the bar to look at the beers offered and to look at which liquors were available. First, the young lady should have been instructed to say, "Let me check on that". Secondly, someone could have helped her with a cheat sheet. It was an awkward 5 minutes of drink orders. Again, not her fault but failure by whoever "trained" her. Overall, the drinks were good. Another "training" failure was our waitress not returning to see if anyone needed anything or to see if another round of drinks was needed. No one to blame but management for not giving our young waitress the chance to provide exceptional service. Would I return? Indeed. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. If the manager did right by their employees, it would have been a truly great experience.“

Being a Thursday night the place wasn't crowded and we could be seated immediately.The atmosphere here is very welcoming and we enjoyed a delicious meal complete with Brandy Alexandars for dessert.This is a stop we will be sure to make again when we are in the area. “I've been here quite a few times for pizza, the food is excellent, reasonably priced, and everyone is always friendly.Unfortunately, I've tried to get food a number of times and they either don't answer the phone (when they are open) or close far earlier than their hours state.I will gladly update this to 5 stars if you could please make ordering a bit easier and list the correct hours!Parking: Plenty of parking, lot behind the building, and large lot across the street.“
“OK, Found another great supper Club in Calumet county. Drove from Green Bay, thru farmland to Stockbridge near Lake Winnebago, which is a pretty ride. When you get here, you would never think of this as a supper club, it's a small little place, but that is what makes it so interesting. Very friendly staff let us know that we would be ordering at the bar from a waitress. Sat at the bar and put our name on the list. Had a great conversation with a gal from the area. Her and her husband gave me more names of great supper clubs in this region. A shout out to her and "Thanks"! Everyone but me had old Fashions, ...I am a wine drinker and I will say the wine list isn't up to par. C'est'vie. The Pinot Noir wasn't bad. Waited for a table, went quick. Small dining room, small salad bar, but everything was delicious. The head lettuce had a little rust spots, but there were two other lettuces, and the dressings were great. Loved the liver paste, pickled beets and homemade croutons. They even had bacon vinegar dressing. I had the combo, ribeye, which was grilled perfect along with the perch, which had a very light breading. Everyone loved their meals. The prices are crazy low. The reason this place got a 5 is the friendliness, interesting items on the salad bar and the food was good.“
“Van Abel’s catered our wedding in Green Bay in December. We got so many compliments on the food, even our local guests that knew Van Abel’s were so impressed with how fresh the chicken was. The appetizers and entrees were all amazing, the specialty muddled cocktails were super yummy! Love the cherries! The staff was super friendly and inviting. The only critique would be the booth lights are a bit bright. We will be back for sure!“
