“Last night I decided to go to The Black Otter for take out. I got the deep fried haddock. The portions were big which was nice. The fillets were flaky and melted in your mouth. Hands down the best fish I’ve had in a while anywhere. Very impressed. Thank you for the awesome food! Although I knew I wouldnt be disappointed anyway. “We were there last night. It was fairly busy for 5 o'clock. Got seated right away in a booth by the bar. Had an awesome waitress checking in and updates on food order due to some bigger groups ahead of us. All our food was delicious and had an awesome waitress/service. Didn't catch her name. Certainly will be back.“

“I work in New London and drive by this place often, after a long shift I got off this morning hungry and decided to try breakfast here. Wow so good and affordable. I had hash browns, eggs, bacon, eng muffin, and coffee and I am stuffed. 100% would recommend to anyone.

Karaoke is a blast with Trish Ann and the other patrons are enthusiastic. “We got lucky stopping here for lunch! The warm, rustic ambience and the friendly welcoming we received was a nice reprieve from driving! For starters we ordered cheese curds - a Wisconsin must. And we were NOT disappointed! They were served piping hot with a light breading and ranch dressing. Our main was the day’s special, French Dip. It, too, was delicious. the beef was piled high and tender served on a sub roll with plenty of au jus. We were able to split it and have a full meal each. The bathrooms were immaculate. The Grill has a full bar with rotating draft specials, appetizers, sandwiches, pizza and main entrees all reasonably priced. We left to friendly goodbyes, satisfied stomachs and “please stop by again”. When in the area we will definitely be back.“
