“I chose the Kansas Strip steak with a twice baked potato. It's a bone in steak with New York strip and a bit of tenderloin. It was absolutely delicious! Great flavor, prepared to medium perfectly. Before your meal is delivered, you start out with a nice mixed greens salad and choice of soup which French onion is included with those choices!! I'm looking forward to my next visit there with my boyfriend and our friends. Oh yeah, their old fashioned's are quite tasty as well!“
“I like to take long, exploratory drives and I found this unique restaurant one day after going to the lake. I couldn't stay to eat there but was determined to go back and I did last night.I had the haddock which was perfectly cooked with minimal seasoning which is great for that fish; its own buttery flavor needs to come through and it very much did. My mom had the broasted chicken which was so good that she ate too much of it. I think it was worth the overly full tummy. We both had baked potatoes and they were fine. The herb bread we made sure to take home. I recommend picking some up before a holiday and warming it up for the dinner. I asked our server if people do that and she said that they do. I can see why; it's lovely.When Schreiner's in FDL closed, I thought I might never get another bowl of clam chowder as good but Fin's is just as good even though it's a different recipe. I liked it so much that I had more to cap off my meal.Our iced tea came in a carafe so that we could refill as needed. I would like to see more restaurants do that. All that we might need was on the table or at the salad bar for the most part but Lynda was prompt in bringing whatever we asked for that wasn't there.She was very accommodating overall and took care of several tables in the dining room easily. That's difficult to do but she's adept. Most of all I felt genuine friendliness and she appreciated my positive feedback.It was dark out but we could see the water. We were sat by a window and the deck was right outside. I always seek restaurants that are close by water. I can't have a view of the Pacific in this state but we do have lakes and rivers.I'll be back when it's warmer. The prices are reasonable and the food quality is excellent. I will probably try one of the burgers because they look like something a cut above most establishments' burgers, given the thick patties and what look to be buns baked in house with a nice egg wash for deep golden color. That made them look so appetizing that I almost regretted my fish. Almost.I cannot go on forever but I will say that I don't often find 7 or 8 different items I'd like to try on one menu and I do with Fin 'N' Feather. Mom had a hard time deciding, too. That means we need to go back. :)“

“It was my first time there. Salad bar was very good. Homemade dressing was wonderful. The staff and other guests were so welcoming. I have to say that the best part of the meal was the steak. “We have had many amazing dinners with our family and many friends! One of our favorite nights to go is Wednesday to enjoy their amazing crab dinner. It's the best around. Another wonderful thing about going here is they have burger that can be served on a gluten free bun. My family family has two people in it that have ceilac and as many know around our area we don't have many places we can eat at. Having these options for us is a blessing, we appreciate it!! “Went for a work lunch outing- was really impressed! There were school students there before our group and more came later as well and they had it sectioned off nicely so each group could bowl. Great facility, great prices, nice ball selection, well cared for lanes and fun between frame animations. Food and drinks were good and put out on time.Would highly recommend for any occasion!“
“They are under new ownership and to be honest the fish fry combo was not as good or near as big as it used to be. It was good, Just not awesome. Service was extremely slow and many times there wasn't even a bartender to be seen. When we were ready for our bill one of the kitchen staff came out and he was actually very rude to us. Have to say a little disappointed. Used to be one of our favorite fish fry places.“
“When it comes to bars in Wisconsin my expectations are pretty low as far as service and food goes. However, Fox Haus was a pleasant surprise. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was good. The burgers were all made nicely and the fries and appatizer were both better than expected. The place looks bigger from the outside than it is on the inside. Overall I would recommend this place.“

“We checked this place out on a Friday night at around 5. We had a party of 7. We had no problem getting a seat and service was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their food. I got the Cod meal and wish the cod would of been larger pieces but really good. The bluegill was also very good and my father in law thought he got a good amount. My daughter got chicken tenders and fries and she really enjoyed it.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with Lemonade. Win Win.“

“First time we have eaten here. The food, service and restaurant were excellent. But the charges were not transparent; they charge a fee for paying a credit card, they call it a “Procurement Fee”! This fee was not told to us until after they ran my credit card, this is just wrong. Also, I am not sure how they have their credit card machine calculate suggested tips, but be careful. The 20% I tapped on came out to more then 20% of what they called the “Base amount”! We will definitely be back; it is worth the drive from the Town of Algoma, but the next time I will pay in cash and calculate the tip myself.Parking: Easy to find parking on the street. We did arrive on a Friday at around 5pm, so we may have been a head of the crowd. It was busier when we left.“
