“This is not a place for super fancy people but it's a great place for people looking to have some fun. The drink prices are very fair and the Bloody Mary's are very good. Its right on the water and has a place for boats to dock. You can see the train tracks and every time the train passes, that give out a free drink. There is also a giant sand box/pit and a "free shower." Owner and bartenders were very friendly and good at their job.“
“We have gone twice now to Haufschildts for Friday night fish. Both times the food has been excellent and the service great! I've had the perch and then the haddock. My wife loved their shrimp so much sh had it both times and was not disappointed. They make a really good old fashion and are very friendly. We ate at tables in the bar area as we could keep an eye on the Brewers game, but they do have a small dining room also. We will return and if it's a Friday my next try will be the pollack.“
“The Rose Garden is definitely worth a visit no matter what time of day.I have now visited for Breakfast and Lunch. Everything "I" have ordered has been great. Combine that with the incredibly friendly service and relaxed atmosphere, and you've got something golden.I have tried the Chicken Fried Steak w/ gravy for breakfast and it beats the Truck Stop handedly. Frankly it wasn't even a competition.I have tried their burgers and fries for lunch and again, worth every penny.All in all if you aren't stopping into Rose Garden at least once every couple weeks you ain't livin right lol.“
“The food was very good. Very nice stop when you’re on the water with very nice views of the river front. The staff were very nice and the restaurant is very nice with plenty of things to do such as pool and darts. Definitely worth the stop if you are in the area.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.“
“Very friendly staff, I believe the owner was doing it all by herself. Had chicken bacon ranch wrap and it was VERY good. Seemed like pretty friendly patrons also. Lots of tvs for watching sports. Dart board, pool table, pull tab machine, yes took some money from me.“

Our burgers were done to perfection.One Friday, I took out Perch dinners to eat with my elderly Aunt and Mother. We all thought it was a large portion of perch. “The food was outstanding! Have driven past this place hundreds of times and took the chance to stop in. Went for fish on Friday, they have perch, bluegill, and walleye, all wild caught from Canada. Prices were very competitive and service was good. Will definitely be back!“
