While road tripping through Wisconsin recently, I decided to check out HappyCow instead of making my usual Starbucks stop in Janesville. I was surprised to find a natural foods store and cafe right off the interstate. This place is a gem! Tammy is the sweetest! Our daughter always looks for her when we are shopping. The pumpkin scones are delicious. The cooler area sometimes has an eggless tofu salad , and vegan potato salad, both are good. I wish they would add a vegan sandwich to the cooler for a quick grab and go, they have vegetarian ones though. Loved everything about the cafe food wise and the tables. Also loved they had a little nook for kiddos to play. The only negative thing I would say is that they need to mop there floors? I put new clothes/socks on my 13 month old daughter and they were completely BLACK along with her hands from her crawling/walking on the floor and she smelled musty(like the floor hasn't been cleaned in god knows how long) so that is really nasty.
