Rock Bottom Express is... well, kinda like the bar in the iconic TV series Cheers. No, the bar decor is not like Cheers. It's the people. The bartenders (usually women, in my experience) are fun, friendly, and engaging. And, yeah, just like Cheers, people drop in and and within minutes they're talking with complete strangers and paying for a round as if they'd known them since high school. And there is a group of Freemasons from Jefferson County Lodge who drop in...
Cool atmosphere on the river. Appetizers were good. Baked fish a little flavorless. Have great family visits here on a regular basis. Sliders and chicken wings a "go-to" and always delicious!
The meal came out hot and fresh, and it did not take long for our to go order. The burgers were delicious with a fluffy bun. The California burger was perfect with the avocado on it. The cheese curds were crispy and delicious, as well. Just note, fries don't come with the burgers. sides are extra.
