About Fin and Ale

Fin and Ale offers an inviting atmosphere with extraordinary food, making it a popular spot for both meals and drinks. The restaurant serves delicious perch lunch sandwiches and shore lunches, perfect for fishermen. Their fish fry is crispy and well-cooked, accompanied by creamy coleslaw and seasoned fries. The hot beef dinner is also highly praised, offering a unique flavor compared to typical recipes. The menu features smoked ribs and smoked chicken with gluten-free options, which are so good that some customers say they don't even need sauce. Some recent diners mentioned that the ribs were delicious and meaty, becoming a craving for many. Sides like fries and coleslaw are consistently enjoyed, and the place provides carryout for convenience. The perch and walleye combo closely matches the craving for reef and deep ocean fish, with the coleslaw's acidity complementing the fish well. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming environment, while the upgraded interior enhances the dining experience. Overall, Fin and Ale is a must-visit spot for a satisfying meal or drink, with a great variety on the menu and excellent service.

Ordered the pizza because I couldn’t decide what I wanted. It looked so appetizing as it was being placed in the oven. Nice thin crust, just the right amount of sauce, a phenomenal cheese pull and the veggies were nice and fresh. I highly recommend!

Servicing oily margarin instead of butter with the baked fish was a big mistake, also the bartender did not make there old fashioned correctly as well as being grouchy it seemed to us. The fish dinner broiled cod was dry but the baked potatoes were perfectly done. 3 people at the bar and slow service. The place was only partially filled at 5:00 pm for the fish fry mostly older people over 60 . Seems like the word has gotten around about the place. Also $10.00 a drink for old fashioned?

We wanted an appetizer today and had the ocean waves! They were delicious!
