I have dietary sensitivities to artificial sugars.] Beyond Nutrition has a unique spin on smoothies and is very popular with locals. Beyond Nutrition is a chain of independently owned businesses- every store has their own menu. The Kiel location includes a gym in the back of the store which offers personal training opportunities and classes. The owner was nice and welcoming- she is passionate about her business model. She has many regular customers. Beyond Nutrition has a goal directed towards improving health and nutrition, as evidenced by weight-loss-progress-photos on the wall. The smoothies are not made with real sugar. They are made with a gluten free shake mix called Herbalife which is supposed to help promote weight loss, as meal replacement shakes. They weren't able to make any shakes without the powder, so I ended up opting out of a shake. It's a nice business- I wish them well. Beyond Nutrition is located in the center of town on the main street of Fremont and is exceptionally community oriented.“
