“We were just driving thru and saw their sign and decided to stop in for a drink. So glad we did. Ray and Kim are such nice people. Sadly we had just eaten a short while before or we definitely would’ve eaten there. They are very passionate about all their homemade food and they should be it looks delicious. “Our family had a great experience here 10/10 would recommend. The food was delicious I had ordered their homemade spaghetti special. The server was so nice and accommodating. While we waited for our food she brought us coloring things for our daughter. Even the bathrooms were super clean ☺️ I recommend anyone visiting Gillett to come and try the food here.Parking: Watch out where you park though, otherwise an old grumpy man will call the police; not even giving a warning. He claims to own the building next door and was very unpleasant. I don't understand why he wouldn't post signs to inform people especially for people who come from out of town. When questioned he admitted he should probably put up signs. If you see an older guy with a rusted truck with a ducktaped door handle I recommend avoiding if possible.Kid-friendliness: The menu has many great options for kiddos even the fussiest eaters will be able to find something they'll enjoy.“

“We do a lot of traveling and use Yelp all the time. We found this place on Yelp and the reviews don't lie. The hospitality was amazing. And the food lives up to the reviews. I had the baked haddock with lemon and baked potato and my husband had the perch and said it was really good. We will be back.“
“I did a pickup order. The door was a little confusing to find since it's on the side of the building and not really labeled. The inside was nice and looked like a nice super club with a big bar. I got the queen prime rib and it was a massive piece and so so damn good. It melted in my mouth and even reheated great for lunch the next day.Spend about $15-$25 a person.Kid-friendliness: Had a small game room with about 5 games. Could me more I only took a quick look.“

“What a great place to go with family and friends (or both).I was recently here for a surprise party for my husband. Jen and her staff couldn’t be more accommodating. We brought in a cake that I had made, that they thoughtfully provided plates for. Some of our group ordered off the menu, while some of our friends, also brought food, which was fine with them. How cool of them!The only thing I’ve had so far is the Giant pretzel with cheese, and it was delicious! Everything else there, looked and smelled delicious, as well.I’m new to the area, and can’t wait to go back here. The atmosphere is really cool, with mounts hanging on the walls. It kind of looks, a little like a hunting lodge, with a nice bar. “Great restaurant and bar. I've been going here for the last 10 years, and I have never been disappointed. The penguin is definitely better known for their delicious wings, and their daily specials are always a hit and at affordable prices. The alcoholic drinks are pretty pricey and little heavy-handed but are still great.“
“My husband and I went there for our first time last night and it won’t be our last. I got the tenderloin and it was cooked to perfection. Very good quality steaks and great house seasoning. He had the fish platter and said it’s one of the best ones he has had in Wisconsin. Had a fresh salad bar too with lots of choices. There was no wait for a table and the staff were all very kind and courteous. We look forward to going back again in the future!“
“Been searching all over for the best fish fry to my tastes. I am very fussy! I have found it right here! The fish is crispy, which is the way it is supposed to be. We ordered the Pollock and it was so delicious! The french fries were perfectly done and the beans were exactly the way they are supposed to be, a bit sweet and tender as the rye bread was super fresh. We will always come here from now on, and the good thing is, it is close to home. Thanks to you all for such a wonderful experience as we have now found our absolute favorite Friday night Fish spot!“
