“Today I had a fantastic meal at a small restaurant by UWL! I gave it a 5 rating for excellent flavors! For a person looking for food that is closest to some of the food served when in Asia, this place hit the spot! Yes, they have limited product like egg rolls, and crab Rangoons, but the spicy chicken wings were awesome AND SPICY, so you were warned. The curries were lovely, and my friend enjoyed the pork belly immensely. Service and food took some time, but it was well worth the wait in my opinion. Good food cannot be rushed!“

“Very tasty Chinese food. I had ordered pepper chicken, lo mein , orange chicken. All the ontre and noodles were very tasty. Portion size was good as well. The shopping mall in which it is located I found a lot of shops were closed. But this place is really god. I was visiting La crose.

I saw vegetarian options as well. Family run place and cooks are good. The kids managing the counter is very welcoming.“

“If you love Chinese food, then this is the place for you. Best little Chinese restaurant in the area. Yes, there have been some changes in the menu and the restaurant, but they still beat every Chinese restaurant in the area. The buffets in this area have gone downhill for sure. China Star has great food. There's lots of returning customers who defend this place because we all know it's way better than the rest in the area. I love their steamed dumplings. I love their sweet n sour shrimp. I love their sweet and sour soup. Go get some today and rejoice at your good find.“

“The price is very cheap for lunch hour ( not weekends ) we ate for 2 only about $22
I like beef and the red sweet one (idk what the meat not sure duck or pork) and the others are just so so and for dessert I only like small soes with cream inside

“I am disappointed to hear that the bar at the La Crosse/Onalaska store (and all Hy-Vee locations) will close April 30. It was managed and staffed very well. This was something that made Hy-Vee unique, and now it will be less so. I guess dropping Wahlburgers was a step in that direction. No thanks to the Corporate Office of Hy-Vee, Inc.“

“I have always loved this restaurant. I’ve been coming here since I was 16. Everyone who works there is so nice and the food is phenomenal. Ngl had to order myself some tonight from there ended up spending almost $50😂😂😂. I’m not mad about it tho cuz it’s like three days of food with how huge their portions are. 💖💖“

“The best Chinese joint in a couple of counties. The food is good, and they're great about modifications (like I wanted my curry extra spicy). Staff are friendly and courteous.

They're perfect, especially for take-out after a hard day.“

“Walked in and was immediately seated. Service was incredibly fast! We never had to ask for a refill, as the wait staff was so prompt. There's a great variety of food available, and we found it all very fresh and hot. I had crab rangoon, sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, and white rice for dinner. There was lots more I would've liked to try, but I was getting rather full, and had to save room for desert! Best variety of food and dessert hands down. Staff is so caring and courteous, they've made us fans! For sure will be coming back here often.“
