I am disappointed to hear that the bar at the La Crosse/Onalaska store (and all Hy-Vee locations) will close April 30. It was managed and staffed very well. This was something that made Hy-Vee unique, and now it will be less so. I guess dropping Wahlburgers was a step in that direction. No thanks to the Corporate Office of Hy-Vee, Inc.
We had never been to a Wahlburger before let alone one in a grocery store. What a great meal we had and very inexpensive.
Paul's Choice Cheeseburger, a side of tater tots, and a drink for $10 and my wife had just the burger and it was only $6. This is advertised as a 1/3 pound burger bug it sure looked bigger. We both really liked our burgers and the Tater Tots were great also.

I've always wanted to try these burgers. I think they were amazing. I got a "Pauls favorite" double-decker burger, and it was amazing. It was juicy and seasoned, and the fries were very delicious. I totally recommend it.
