We sampled just about all of them during our stay, with our favorites being the almond raspberry danish, chocolate croissant, and the goat cheese and honey scone. Had a fantastic wonderful dinner last night (smoked trout appetizer, steak, trout with polenta, stuffed tomato, panna cotta and key lime) we shared everything. It was fabulous. Thank you for existing and for still being open! Love the take out option. Everything was excellent. Love them.”

“The food at the Beach Club is absolutely positively delicious!! yesterday we had some of the very BEST Soup that we've ever had!! Everything is served Fresh, Hot and exactly as described!! from thier Starters to the Sandwiches to Burgers and Wraps and everything in betwee, Quality in every bite! And the Chili has to be mentioned, it is amazingly unique and so delicious! Hats off to Brandon who runs this incredible Kitchen, he is an amazing Chef & Manager!! “Nice spot in LaPointe to enjoy a good cup of coffee, a pastry and work on a very difficult puzzle ? The atmosphere and staff are wonderful. Lots of specialty goods, coffee and tea for sale too. Highly recommend when you can't get your campfire started or you just want a pleasant spot to hang out! We didn't have one, but the next table raved about the breakfast sandwiches.Coffee is yum.”

In an era where outstanding dining experiences feel few and far between, this place was a refreshing—and unforgettable—exception. I ordered the steak, and my wife had the shrimp, and both dishes were nothing short of phenomenal. Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Every bite felt like it had a story behind it, and the attention to detail in the preparation was evident from the first forkful to the last. What truly set Good Thyme apart, though, was the hospitality. The owner, Ben, is one of the most personable, genuine characters I’ve ever encountered in a restaurant setting. “A friend and I stopped in from Duluth as I was dropping off art at the Washburn Cultural Center, and stopped into the coffee shop. Amazing home baked pastries and sandwiches. Wonderful,, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Definitely a smallish seating area, yet an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend!”

“Omg, we were walking around Bayfield and accidentally stopped by. After sitting down and having a beer, we eventually discovered we were talking to both the owners. The friendliest people with many stories about the history and about the fishery. Eating an hour before I still had to try the fish and chips. Best I’ve had!!!!! If you in the bayfield area do yourself a favor and stop!!!”
