We started with the duck fat rolls with maple butter which were devoured. The special for the evening was a pumpernickel crusted halibut with beets. It was delicious, as were the parmesan encrusted walleye and the prime filet. Everything ordered was outstanding.
Being a vegetarian and going to a steak house is counter intuitive but this was one of the best dining experiences I've had. My profile indicates I am a vegetarian but I have never had any restaurant tell me they would inform the chef so as to accommodate my culinary wishes. We ordered sides and they were all delicious. They even informed me that one of the sides was not vegetarian but they were making it so it would be. Top notch service from beginning to end.
The service was exceptional and the dishes were delicious, fresh, and unique. It's the perfect restaurant for a romantic date or upscale meal with friends. Our server, Ben, was very attentive and added to our enjoyment.
