I was really really excited to try this farm to table bistro and was not disappointed with the staff and atmosphere, but I did feel that the food and wine selections slightly missed the mark. I did love the place and I did appreciate my meal, but I thought that the beet salad was more dressing and rich extras than it was beets and the shank was too oily and fairly tasteless. Visited Sopra for out anniversary dinner, expecting a higher class, intimate dining experience. Not the case, tables are on top of each other & if someone around you wants to get up everyone needs to readjust. Being from Chicago & they claim to take a "Lincoln park" ambiance, I was slightly disappointed, however I see what they meant. The drinks were good but also no different than other places that serve cocktails in the area. The bolognese was truly lacking in depth and flavor to the point that I saw no difference between it and canned pasta sauce.
